Panasonic - what we just want is a state of the art: HPX-4700 with 1920x1080 chip recording 50p variable to 1p. Do not put anymore work in lover cameras. This is what we want for future investment....

These are available already. There's the Sony F23 that'll do 1080/50 or 60P to a dockable HDCAM SR deck, and the HDC1500 with the same deck will do it too. It's just a lot of money and a big rig!
Any of the techie guys can tell us why you couldn't do it cheaply and compactly? Maybe there is a good reason. I always understood that the reason it wsn't done is because you can't transmit 1080/50P because it uses far too much bandwidth and that's why there are no cameras to do it.

The problem are how much are we willing to pay? I mean, mankind managed to transmit video from the moon decades ago, nothing is impossible...just expensive. The market for camcorders with pricetages past 1 million USD would not be to attractive..

Although HPX4700, Avc-intra 1-50fps would be nice!
