Hey, selling my M15U simply cause I went Canon and I am not getting much use out if it anymore!

With taxes, one can expect to pay $3000 Canadian new. I will let it go for $2500. The deck plays all sony HDV and DV (and DVCAM) tapes, can master to DV and DV CAM and HDV and can play back ANY SD tape (even Canon 24P and Panasonic 24P) It has almost 0 hours on it is in MINT expect for slight cosmetic scratch on the top from a pen.

Prefer to sell locally.

Selling a mint condition (used less than a single day) Sony HVR-A1U HDV camera, along with complete CAVISION 3x3 matte box system with all-metal ("M") back mount + french flag + CAVISION eject spacer, step-down rings for stock and wide lenses, Sony VCL-HG0737Y High-grade Wide Angle Conversion Lens, Sony AC-SQ950 AC/DC dual battery super-quick charger (including auto and AC plugs), extra Sony NP-QM71D super-quick InfoLithium battery.

So, it's camera + matte box system + wide lens + dual charger + extra battery.

Box included, plus all manuals, accessories, tools etc. for everything. Truly mint, as-new, and barely used. Really nice little kit.

Only (very minor) thing is that the wide conversion lens doesn't have its lens cap, because I used the cap to craft a nice shim/spacer for the lens to fit the matte box (now a perfect, tight fit). I've always kept the matte box (w. flag) on the lens, so it hasn't been a problem for me.

New, all items (at the best prices) would be over $3,000, but I'll sell the kit for $2,100 USD.

I am located in Toronto, Canada - but will ship just about anywhere. PayPal, money order, check (shipped when cleared) are all good.

Respond here, or e-mail disccollector@disccollector.com.

I purchased an XL2 last year on this very forum and held on to my XL1 as a backup, but the truth is I haven’t used it since I got the XL2, so it’s time I give it up to someone who will put it to good use. Plus it'll make an excellent Christmas gift.

I am the original owner, and took excellent care of it. The camera was sent to Canon service in Irvine, CA for annual maintenance a few months back and is in perfect working order. It’s had approximately 110 hours of use on the tape head. It has a couple of scratches on it (see photos), but is in otherwise excellent condition. The camera comes complete with the following:

Canon XL1 Body
Color Viewfinder
Canon Directional Stereo Microphone including windshield
Canon 16X Auto Zoom Lens with Hood
Original Stock Battery BP-927
Extended Life Battery BP-941
Canon XL1 Wireless Remote
Canon AC Adapter/Charger
Sorry no shoulder strap or lens bag.

Also includes the
MA-100 XLR Stereo Audio Adapter with shoulder Mount and battery plate.

See pics of all above here: http://www.notafraid.com/XL1/

Asking $1600 + paypal + shipping.

While I have gotten a lot of interest over this package, it is still up for sale. I'ts a great deal, so if you've been thinking about getting an M2, this is by far the quickest and cheapest way to get into a system.

I've sent email to the address you provided above. If there's nothing wrong with the lenses, I'll take the package. Thanks.

I sent you an email back on the 9th of December and never heard back. As I said then, I would take the package and either try and meet with you or pay for shipping. Did you not get my email?

I still have this unit - sitting in the box, not doing me any good! I really need to sell it so I'll lower my asking price to $440. Remember this was used only ONE time for testing. And that price includes shipping, etc. I accept paypal and will ship to USA. E-mail me if you are intersted!

By the way, here is a brief description (so you can know the model #'s of individual pieces, frequency range, etc.)

Last chance beor ebay....

Marty Hudzik
December 16th, 2006, 08:27 AM
Bruce.....I think you are going to have better luck on Ebay at this point. The migration to the A1 is in full swing and therefore the demand for XL series lenses has decreased somewhat. I would have bought the lens from you but I just got a used one off Ebay 4-5 days prior to you listing this. Ironic as it is actually my old lens you are selling!

There are only a couple on Ebay now going for around $875-$925. So you should be able to compete easily.

Oh....and if it makes any difference the lens he Bruce selling is in great shape....probably better than the used one I bought recently. The one I have is functionally fine but has a few scuffs on it. The one I sold Bruce was very clean and I do not recall any blemishes anywhere.

Good Luck!

Bruce S. Yarock

Thanks, Marty. I'll give it another couple of days here, then put it on ebay.
And you are correct...the lens is in perfect condition.

That's an excellent price for dyamite lens. I own one, and shoot with it for almost everything. (I also own a 16x Auto, and 3x wide). People who want to do serious 'filmmaking' should consider it.

I guess I will add to the thread, but I am looking for a laptop.

Does NOT have to edit HDV, but maybe simple DV25 format. Must handle PhotoshopCS and Microsoft Office, preferring a 40GB+ hard drive, decent display, CD-R/RW, DVD-R/RW would be nice. Must have USB/IEEE, Fax/modem, Etherent, and VGA outs.

If you are offering or could suggest.

Willing to trade (& payment):

4 Shure PG58's
2 Shure SM57's
2 Shure SM86's
Bunches of short and long XLR cable.

Or combo-up whatever you might need.

Richard,
The 16x does have a beautifull image. If I didn't need so much other gear (not to mention paying my Amex bill for the H1 I bought last month), I'd keep it.
Btw, are you using it on an H1 or XL2?

I am selling Sony TRV900 with 2 batteries, carry case, charger and chords. Camera is in great shape and works perfectly fine with no problems. Camera has very small signs of wear...I can send photos to anyone interested.

I am asking for $1000 Canadian. Would prefer a Canadian buyer but will sell to others.

Let me know.

Thanks
Steve

For sale mint condition PS Technik mini35 series 300 version "C" adapter outfitted for the Canon XL series video cameras. There are 3 iterations of the series 300 units, A, B and C. The main differences were in the relay lens mask, I will explain this in more detail.

Verision "A" had a super35 mask compared to the version "B".
Version "B" was modified to have an Academy 35mm mask to allow more zoom lense to work (except 35mm cine zooms)
Version "C" - new electronics board to regulate voltage on the ground glass motor for more consistent motor speed.

Unit for sale comes with the following items and all is in super mint condition with only 10 hours use:

P+S Technik mini 35 image converter series 300 version "C"
P+S Pair of P+S rods (for 15mm light weight support)
P+S Shoulder Set mini 35 digital for Canon XL1s
P+S Ergonomic holder for professional Canon viewfinder
P+S Technik XL1, XL1s
P+S Plate adapter for XL2 mount kit
P+S Arri PL Cine Lens Mount
P+S Nikon Lens Mount
P+S PL Lens mount cover

Also can include aluminum flight case with foam cutouts fit perfectly to the adapter and parts.

Serious inquiries only. Thank you.

For sale is a Sigma 50mm-500mm ultra zoom lens for Canon EOS cameras (works w/both film and digital SLR's.) The lens was bought at B&H a few months ago for $999. This is the newer DG version which has extra coatings optimized for digital SLR's.
This lens is 100% perfect and comes in the box as when purchased new. There are NO marks, scratches or dust on the lens- it is perfect!

Would be a killer lens for a Canon XL, XL1S, XL2 or H1 with EF adapter!
