Ned Soltz November 1st, 2006, 03:08 PM Excellent shape with no dead pixels.
Also included are 2 power supplies, 1 airplane/lighter adapter, MacCases backpack with padded slip-cover for computer. I often have just carried computer in the slip-case, but the backpack is really nice (and worth over $100 itself).
Note that I will not reformat the hard drive other than to remove personal information and data. It does contain software which, according to law, you must remove if you are not licensed user of the software.
I will advertise a few days on various boards before putting on eBay and will take down this ad if it does not sell and must go to eBay.
I am asking $1600 or best offer. PayPal is OK. At the full $1600 price, I will ship UPS ground in Continental US at no extra charge.
Please feel free to contact me for details.

Bruce S. Yarock November 1st, 2006, 07:21 PM I bought these two several months back from a guy on this board (Mark Foley). They both work fine, and come with the following accessories:
Box,battery,firewire cable,manual.
I also have one extra battery, the Firestore cradle/holder that can be used on your belt or on the camera shoe, belt clip and the manfrotto482 lcd swivel attachement to mount the holder on the camera shoe. In addition, I have two large (3 cylinder each) rechargable nimh batteries. I never got a charger for these, so didn't bother using them.
I'll sell the entire package for $900 (what I paid). I prefer selling the two together, but if someone wanted just one,I'll have to price out the extra stock battery and the cradle w adaptor.
I'm selling them because I just bought a CanonH1, and want to shoot more in 24f. 24f is not supported by the FS4.The fs 4 works really well with the SONY Z1 and FX1,both in sd and hdv. I also used it quite often with my XL2.

Bruce S. Yarock November 1st, 2006, 07:46 PM I just realized that I had bought an adaptor cable/plug in order to power the FS 4 with an Anton Bauer gold mount and battery.
It's the Anton Bauer power tap-one end plugs into the FS4 and the other into the AB battery mount. If the buyer wants this ,I'll have to check the price.

Benjamin Hill November 1st, 2006, 09:58 PM Dean, why are you selling it?
Dean Sensui November 1st, 2006, 10:05 PM Benjamin...
I decided to switch over to an all-P2 workflow. I'm not able to use my Firestore along with my wireless mic system, and also wanted to make everything a lot more compact.
Also it solves having to have yet another set of batteries to charge up.
Marshall Staton November 1st, 2006, 11:16 PM How about $265?
Charles Perkins November 2nd, 2006, 05:49 AM will this work with a canon XL-H1 in HDV mode?
if so, i'm interested.
edit: what capacity re they? 40GB?
Bruce S. Yarock November 2nd, 2006, 07:00 AM Charles,
I tried it with my new H1. It works in 60i but not 24f. I didn't try 30f, but assume that's ok (I could try it if you want). It also works flawlessly withthe Sony FX1( I used it on a long shoot last week).

Bruce S. Yarock November 2nd, 2006, 07:06 AM Charles,
Calrification- I used it with both cameras in hdv. The drive is 40gig.
I plan to use my remaining FS 4 with the H1 when shooting in 60i, and just capture from tape (or an HV 10) when shooting in 24f.

Tip McPartland November 3rd, 2006, 12:16 PM I just went to a 5x5 matte box so I am selling my pristine Schneider 4x4 Tru-Pol linear polarizing filter. These are probably the best with the strongest polarizing action, the only competition being Tiffen Ultra-Pol.
$250 plus $10 for S&H and insurance payable via PayPal or by mailing money order or cashiers check will take it.

Richard Lubash November 3rd, 2006, 02:28 PM I have a Sekonic L-608 Cine Super Zoom Master exposure meter that we purchased for a commercial we shot 3 years ago. After the commercial we packed the light meter in a small pelican case and put it away. ...Well today I just found it and realized it's been sitting (with the battery out) and nobody even remembered we had it. The meter is in *excellent* condition and sold for about $740.00. I would like to get $499. shipped in the Con US. Payment vis PayPal.
You can call me at 404.395.0292
Thanks,

Manufactures Info:
he Sekonic Division of Mamiya America has announced immediate availability of the Sekonic L-608 Cine Super Zoom Master exposure meter. This Cine version of the L-608 Super Zoom Master exposure meter has added features and capabilities for the cinematographers and the videographers, while still retaining all of the features useful to still photographers. The new meter offers a parallax-free zoom spot viewfinder with a rectangular field-of-view, and features an EL (Electro-Luminescent) digital display inside the viewfinder as well as on the main LCD panel. The 1° to 4° zooming viewfinder offers precise selection of an area in the scene from which the meter reading is taken. This allows great precision in selection of the important areas in the scene for making multiple light measurements for comparison and light adjustment. In addition to the zoom viewfinder, the meter also has a large retractable Lumisphere for incident light readings with an adjustable angle of acceptance. Incident light measurements can be metered in a hemispherical (wide-angle) position or in the retracted narrow-angle position. For still photographers, the L-608 Cine offers ambient and flash metering modes, flash/ambient analyzing and aperture priority memory capability. Steve Roark November 3rd, 2006, 02:41 PM I'm looking to downsize my camera inventory to make room for new gear.
BTW: its all NTSC, I live on a U.S. base.
1. Sony DXC D130 (D30 camera with DSR1 recorder) camcorder. Fujinon A13x9 with 2x extender. Works great. comes with Porta Brace case and AB dual charger but no batteries.
Looking for $5000 obo.
2. JVC DV500 camcorder. Pretty much stock except for 17x7 Canon lens. Works great, but finish on handle wore off, so I wrapped stearing wheel grip around it. Comes with 1 battery and Porta Brace carry on case. Looking for $2000 obo.
3. Canon GL1. This little baby has been around since I hosted the Unofficial Canon GL1 Webpage back around 2000. Its been to Iraq and was used by a Discovery Channel team for some tight interior shots. Has a small crack on the left side where the controls are, but otherwise fine. I'd like $500 obo.
4. Nikon D70 DSLR. Prefer to sell just the body and battery as I plan to upgrade to D200. The kit lens took a 3 foot dive off a shelf and broke piece off the shade. Will include it if someone wants for an extra $75, otherwise $400 obo.
I'll take photos if anybody wants them. Shipping charges will be actual cost of USPS.

Benjamin Hill November 3rd, 2006, 09:49 PM I'd like to try out a lens adapter for some shooting with the HVX200, but I'm a little hesitant to buy one. Is anyone interested in renting me theirs for a month? On a "you break it, you bought it" condition of course. I'm insured, professional references, etc. etc. It might be a way for someone to make some extra $$ if they have one lying around that they haven't been able to unload.

Patrick Moreau November 4th, 2006, 08:47 AM Just picked up an XL2 from Bruce here on the forum so one of our VX2100 needs to go to make room. This cam shoots wide on a tripod at the ceremony, and then a couple hours during the ceremony as the alternating second camera. Likely has about 200 hours on it, but is being cleaned an aligned by Sony right now. I will be picking up the camera Monday and it will be ready to ship. Comes with a case, TWO extra long life batterys, original lens hood, remote and expedited shipping to the US or Canada. Looking for $2200 CDN shipped with everything. This is amuch better deal for somebody leaving in Canada, as there would be no import, taxes or other fees, but if somebody in the US is interested, I will still include express shipping.
Patrick Moreau November 4th, 2006, 08:54 AM Sony highgrade wide angle lens, the 0.7x lens, sells new for $250US at BH, looking for $200CDN. Lens is mint condition. I have a couple wide angles and need to make room for a new camera. I can add in the wide angle lens hood for $25 if somebody wants that, but I'm not loking to sell the wide angle lens hood by itself.
Also available, a PC micro 85mm f2.8 manual macro lens by Nikon. This is a very high end macro lens which has tilt and shift. Looking for $1000CDN. We also have a 15mm Sigma f2.8 fisheye, nikon mount, Looking for $450CDN. Both lenses are very sharp and the glass is very clean.
Last item is a Compact Drive PD70X. This is the fastest media reader out there which transfers from 1 gig from your memory card in about 2 minutes. It also transfers about 40 gigs on a set of batteries. This has a 60gb hard drive and comes with the original box, instructions etc. Looking for $250CDN.
I would be interested in partial or full trades for a 72mm wide angle, the canon 3x wide lens, or a glidecam.
Steven Houser November 4th, 2006, 10:33 AM Crane Has Been S O L D !
Ash Greyson November 4th, 2006, 11:39 AM Unit has been sold
Joe Desmond November 4th, 2006, 01:52 PM How about $2700 anyone?
Steve Roark November 4th, 2006, 01:57 PM I tried to email a reply but it bounces back, so here's your answer:
Right now its sitting in a friend's office. He was
going to buy it, but he had to back out due to a new
baby in the house. I'll take some photos on Monday and
post them. Other than the body it comes with
the included battery and a larger Canon battery, I
don't remember the model, but it was listed as a 3
hour battery when new. It has a little wind muff on the
built-in mic that I got for 20 Euro. The battery
charger/ac adapter is included. Lost the original
mini-pin to 3 RCA ends cable, but found a replacement.
I think I have the manual in a box in my attic, I'll
know for sure by the time I post the photos.
I keep it in a Nikon hard case, but that won't be included in the deal. I need it for my new gear.
Thanks for your interest.
