Yarock www.yarock.com David Delaney October 28th, 2006, 10:02 AM What is the warranty on it? Steve Nunez October 28th, 2006, 10:15 AM None- an extended warranty wasn't purchased with it- and it's just under 2 years old. Bruce S. Yarock October 28th, 2006, 12:58 PM I take excellent care of my gear.I've had this XL2 for 1 1/2 years, and have never had it in the elements. I only use Panasonic master quality tape, and have never had a single problem with the cam.The camera is stock, including all of the accessories that came with it, and the original box.( Sorry... Any extras go with my new XLH1). I took pics, but haven't captured them yet. The only cosmetic flaws are 1-A couple of very small scrapes right in front of the ripod mounting plate 2-A very minor scuff on the shoulder pad, left side. $2700. I'll pay paypal charge and you pay shipping. You can email or call me. Bruce S. Yarock www.yarock.com yarock at aol dot com Jason Boyce October 28th, 2006, 06:00 PM Looking to purchase an AT4073a, if you've got one for sale please let me know. I'd rather not buy new, so if somebody's willing to part with one, I'd be much obliged! Jim Karrels October 29th, 2006, 12:15 AM I purchased the FX1 on this board, but am thinking about moving over to Canon HDV.... The FX1 is like new... prior owner put about 20 hours on it... I've used for maybe 1 hr. Includes everything that's included in original box. $2500+shipping Bruce S. Yarock October 29th, 2006, 06:56 AM Anybody? Bruce S. Yarock www.yarock.com Joe Desmond October 29th, 2006, 06:25 PM I have a Canon XL-2 for sale! I bought the camera BODY + LENS in MARCH of this year, 2006, so the camera is still under warranty until March of 2007. The kit (BODY + LENS) came with the "Zoom Lens 20x zoom XL 5.4-108mm L IS" I have been using it for an independent feature film, as I was the DP. Check out some stills of the work I have created with the camera @ http://hdehal.com/screenshots/ I have recorded less than 24 hours, so my total estimated usage of the camera is 36-48 hours (<24 hours recording + <24 hours non-recording)... Calumet and B&H Photo are selling this camera for about $3600, not including shipping and tax: (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=339002&is=REG&addedTroughType=search) I am selling my baby for $3,000, OBO. I would prefer a local deal, though I will consider shipping. +The camera has not been used as a stand-alone deck. +I have only used one kind of tapes, the Panasonic Master-Quality (AY-DVM63MQ) +I have sparingly given it proper routine cleaning with a Panasonic Cleaner tape after weeks of none-use. +A protective UV filter was put on the lens ON purchase! +I have all the original receipts and boxes and manuals. +I'll throw in a box of 5 of those Panasonic MQ tapes Thanks for looking! -Harry D. Yarock www.yarock.com John Inman October 30th, 2006, 10:50 AM I purchased this display September 14, 2006 to go with my Mac Pro. It's just too big for my setup. It is just like new, no dead pixels, will be shipped in original Apple packaging. Hoping for $1800.00 Shipping included within USA. I am open to offers as well. Capnvideo@bellsouth.net Nick Weeks October 30th, 2006, 08:31 PM Gone to eBay. Email me for a link Steve Nunez October 30th, 2006, 09:14 PM Ok, here's the deal....I've been waiting for the Canon A1 to come out but it's release has been pushed back a bit (week/s)- so I went to B&H and bought a new HV10 and paid $1099 for it. I need to document the latest bike I'm painting (Sin City theme) so I got the HV10 to document some scenes of it...I will be using a Firestore HD model and will NOT run any tapes in the HV10 meaning it will have ZERO time on the heads/transports- I'm only going to capture the firewire signal!!! The minute a A1 is available for purchase I will get one and will sell the HV10 for $900- if anyone wants dibs on it, let me know and I'll send ya an e-mail when it's ready to go. It will come with everything in the box as when purchased new and matter of fact I left everything still sealed- all I removed was the camera itself! You'll get the B&H receipt as well- dated today (Oct.30,06) so warranty should still be intact (blank reg cards are inside the box) Anyone interested in locking this camera up? steve@stevenunez.com (In case you're wondering why I don't return the unit for full refund- I just don't like doing things like that- if the camcorder works perfectly I don't believe in returning things- I'd rather use it for a week and lose $200 than to return a perfectly good unit just to save myself the hassel of selling it- call it bad karma.) Rafael Lopes October 31st, 2006, 12:37 AM ...sold... Per Johan Naesje October 31st, 2006, 04:10 AM Due to that I'm upgrading my camcorders to HDV, I have a Canon XL2 PAL-version for sale. The camera is in very good condition, no wear and tear, kept in a bag when not in use. I'm selling it with a Kata raincover, spare BP-945 battery and videolight VL-10. You can view the camcorder and videos taken with it at my website: http://www.video-film.no/utstyr_eng.html Please contact me for price and shipping. Bruce S. Capnvideo@bellsouth.net Check your email. John Inman October 31st, 2006, 09:07 AM Sold! Thanks, Robert Ash Greyson October 31st, 2006, 12:32 PM Hey guys, this is without question, THE best sub $2000 adapter for the Canon cameras. It ONLY works with the XL mount and does not use the stock lens. I am only selling because I now have access to an SDX900 with a cine set-up which trumps my need for this unit, especially because it will only work on the XL1, XL1s, XL2 and XLH1. The unit has a switchable Nikon/Canon FD mount and I will include a Canon 50mm 1.8 lens which is razor sharp. This is the LATEST and best version of this adapter that sells for $900 without the lens, first $825 shipped via paypal gets it... ash =o) AshG@ashVID.com Jason Burkhimer October 31st, 2006, 03:51 PM I might be interested. Ill let you know. if I wind up in the market in the next week or 2, youll have a guaranteed sale. -burk Steve Nunez October 31st, 2006, 04:18 PM Great- excellent timing as I see some A1's have begun shipping....I'll sell whenever you're ready! Marshall Staton October 31st, 2006, 05:14 PM Sticks are kinda old but in nice shape, the head has been mounted but never used. $275 to your door. marstaton4@hotmail.com George Bean October 31st, 2006, 06:10 PM I am the original owner of this firestore, it is the fs-3 with the anton bauer mount. Previously I have listed it in this forum and more recently on ebay. I no longer have the xl1 for which I used the firestore, and though I have used it with a canon gl2 it has not been often. All original packaging, box and documentation is included. The fs-3 works perfectly and I am hoping someone has a use for it, if you are interested please respond. All reasonable offers/trades considered. Thanks for looking. Steve Nunez October 31st, 2006, 06:40 PM Camera was sold.
