Any opinions on how well these legs would work with a Canon GL2?
I mainly ran it off a HVX200 along with a bulky adapter for it. But the gl2 should be pretty basic, and simple. Not sure what you mean about the legs?

I know the head will work well, I'm just not familiar with the legs. A quick Google search shows they're better suited for still photography. I'd like to know if anyone has used them with a GL2 or similar and what their opinion is.

I used them with a DVX100B, and a HVX200 if you wanna consider them similar there fine for any camcorder pretty much vx2000/vx2100/gl1/gl1/fx1

The legs will work well with a GL2. I have one of these as a spare (2nd) tripod.

I used to use it for a XL1s.

The legs are called wilderness legs since they have a very nice rubberized area on each leg. This helps. When the tripod is left in the hot sun, you can still set up the tripod without buring yourself.

The downside is that these legs/tripod head combination do not have a leveling bowl. To level the tripod head/camera, you need to adjust the legs.

This FX1 (NTSC) is a little over a year old, I used it exclusively on my Steadicam during weddings, So I averaged about 2 hours per wedding this year with it, because of my military commitment I only shot 15 this year, so I would guess a total of 30-40 hrs on it, anyway it has all the original packaging. The reason I am selling is two fold, one..... my other shooter bought one of his own so I still have 3 cameras per wedding, second......I am editing in surround now and need to flip the bill for a new DLP TV. I am looking to get $2000.00 for the camera,it is complete with manual and all accesories, I have sold to a couple of people on here and have a perfect rating with ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220034583724

the individuals seemed pleased with the purchases. I wanted to give this place a first shot, can include photos if requested, in great shape. Let me know weddings@hdbride.com

Thanks

Sorry for the delay in responding. Right now the DVX book/dvd is included in a pending sale right now. If the buyer doesn't need it, the book can be sold separately.

My buddy and I , we purchased the $450 shure mixer from Chris last Sunday.

The mixer was shipped very promptly and he emailed us the UPS tracking number the same day.

The Mixer, cables and porta brace arrived today in a very nicely packed and protected box. Everything works like a champ as described by Chris.

Thank you Chris for the excellent deal.

I have for sale a used Canon GL2 professional minidv camcorder. I bought it used from a local seller and intended to use it as my main camera, however I ended up getting a DVX100, so this camera has seen minimal use.

It is important to note that I did experience some problems with this camera, however I had it professionally serviced by Canon Canada in April of 2005. They did a thorough cleaning of the unit and also replaced the drum assembly. In other words, it's basically brand new now! It has been working great since then and I’ve had no problems whatsoever. I will provide the buyer with the official work order to prove the camera was serviced, along with the large amount of money I paid to have the camera repaired.

Asking price: $1700 CAD or best offer. (Shipping is extra)

The following original items/accessories are included:

-Canon GL2 professional minidv camcorder
-Original box and packaging
-BP-915 Battery Pack
-CA-920 Compact Power Adapter
-DC-920 DC Coupler
-SS-650 Shoulder Strap
-WL-D77 Wireless Controller
-Lens Hood
-S-150 S-video Cable

-SDC-8M 8MB SD Memory Card
-Manual

The following additional accessories are also included:

-Canon BP-945 Battery Pack ($150US value)
-Brand new Mike muff windscreen ($39.95 US value)

I got a little crazy last month and ordered a Sennheiser G2 but have not been able to use it at all. I get these ideas that I'll be able to pursue my hobby of photo/video but my "real" job has other plans for me. I've had this for exactly a month, ordered brand new from B&H.

Here is a link to the product page on B&H: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=324242&is=REG&addedTroughType=search

This is in the "A" frequency bank. It includes the camera mount receiver.

I am asking $490. I know that is close to the new price, but basically, it is new. I removed it from the packaging and turned it on once but besides that it has never been used. Also, that price INCLUDES shipping and insurance as well as PayPal fees, etc. By the way I will accept PayPal only. If interested let me know. Thanks!

Okay. Last attempt before resorting to Ebay.

$7200 takes the whole kit. XLh1 and all original accessories including the stock 20x lens, a Tamrac bag that holds camera and all accessories, and the 16x manual lens.

This is a great deal for someone looking into an H1 or even the G1. For just a few hundred more than the G1 you have the ability to use "other lenses" plus you actually get one of those extra lenses too!

Someones got to be able to use this...........
