Eric Brown October 13th, 2006, 07:25 PM Hello, everyone.
I bought this several months ago thinking I would be using it more but it turns out that's not what's happening. My work horse XL2 is seeing most of the action. The camera has a mere 4hrs usage as indicated by the internal time meter. I priced it at what I believe to be a fair price for a very babied and low hour camera. I am also sending it in the box it came in with all of the accessories minus the DV tape and the Magic Bullet Software. You will, however, be getting Barry's DVX book. I've also included a brand new Tiffen 72mm UV filter.
Asking price: $2700.00 which includes shipping UPS.
Someone step up and give this little guy a worthy home. Thanks.

Bruce S. Yarock October 14th, 2006, 03:11 AM David,
i wouldn't suggest getting rid of your stock viewfinder if you get the 1000. I bought the 1000, which I use and like, but kept the standard for when I sell the XL2. You can use the 1000 on the XLH1, or sell it by itself, but an XL2 without any viewfinder might be hard to sell.

Dan Mumford October 14th, 2006, 03:54 AM I'm selling a new Mini fill on camera light. The only time it was used was to try it out when I first bought it. It has the power tap connector. I also have two 35 watt bulbs, and an extra 50 watt bulb. (Total of 4 bulbs) Included is a Frezzi LS-21 3" stud for hot shoe mount. The light was $320.00, the stud was $35.00, and about $15.00 for the extra bulbs at B&H.
I'll take $275.00 plus shipping. Thought I'd try here before going to ebay. I do sell on ebay and if you want to check me out, do a member search for dford13. You'll see I'm not some scammer. Pic on request. You can e-mail me at dm(AT)wannagofishin.com
Thanks,
Dan
Jon French October 14th, 2006, 06:48 AM I will let the VX2000 and VX2100 go for $3000 if someone wants to buy them both.
Jon French October 14th, 2006, 06:57 AM I have been shooting wedding videos for the past 3 years. I closed my business at the end of last month so I can move and get away from here. Everything that I have wil be as well described as I can do and is all in working order.
Sony VX- 2100 & 900 minute battery - $1700 (I bought this new in 2004, I would say there are around 150 hours on it. I have taken very good care of it over the years. The only thing wrong with it is at the back of the handle when near the eye piece is a cover around a button that has broken off. It still works fine and the button works fine just the cover around it is gone. It isn't very noticeable, I will get pictures up in the next few days. It is also missing the lense hood, I think I left it at a hotel or something. The battery is 3 years old and holds a charge for around 550 minutes)
For pictures just email me and I will send you some
Greg Milneck October 14th, 2006, 11:47 AM still available. same hours, excellent condition. Original box and accessories.
Email any reasonable offer.
Nick Weeks October 14th, 2006, 01:18 PM I bought my VX2100 about a year ago, and it's been used 5 times; four weddings and one personal family event. This has only been used by me and I bought the camera brand new. The camera probably has about 40 hours on it, and have never been used as a deck. I've only used Sony Excellence tapes and have never run a cleaning tape through it. The lens has been protected since I opened the package with a 58mm clear glass filter (not included).
The camera is MINT, shows almost no signs of use (the tripod mount shows a little wear where it has rubbed the mounting plate on a tripod, and the lens hood shows a little use, but other than that it's perfect.
I also have one of those Sony knock-off 10 hour batteries... it's less than 6 months old and holds a great charge; I've used it a full 8 hours and it had about 100 minutes to spare when I shut the camera off. Also, I have the $200 Sony soft case made for this camera, directly ordered from sonystyle.com, which is also in mint condition (no rips, scratches, or tears).
For the camera, I've got all the original packaging, boxes, and paperwork, and all accessories (strap, remote, etc).
I can let this camera and case with extra battery go for $2000 shipped. I paid $2300 for it new, and $200 for the case. I take certified check, money order, and paypal, and ship with FedEx.

Danny Jones October 14th, 2006, 08:21 PM How much??
I have the following to sell:
- XL2 camera body
- Canon 16x manual lens
- Pelican 1600 case molded for the XL2 and lens
- Bogen Manfrotto 501 fluid head tripod
- extra battery
- charger and manual
The XL2 only has about 20 hours on it. VERY well taken care of, this camera has been my baby. I would like to sell this as a package. Please make me an offer if interested, I don't have a flat price decided upon.
I am about 20 miles from Los Angeles and would prefer to sell local.
Jon French October 14th, 2006, 10:52 PM I have been shooting wedding videos for the past 3 years. I closed my business at the end of last month so I can move and get away from here. Everything that I have wil be as well described as I can do and is all in working order.
Sony VX-2000 & 900 minute battery - $1600 ( I bought it last year with 150 hours on it, I might have put another 50-75 on it. It was cleaned at a local shop right after I bought it. Has very minimal wear and still even has the stickers on it. Looks like it was just taken out of the box. The battery is 3 years old and holds a charge for around 600 minutes now.)
Eric Brown October 14th, 2006, 11:40 PM Okay, trying again at $2500.00. If no bites I will probably keep it and try and put it to work.
David Delaney October 15th, 2006, 08:27 AM What is the warranty on it?
Eric Brown October 15th, 2006, 03:56 PM I'm not sure what Panasonic has for a warranty... 90 days? A year? I got the 4 year Mack Pro warranty which is 4 years and I bought it about 4-5 months ago, so you still have plenty of warranty on it. Mack charges $15.00 to transfer warranty which I'll throw in with the camera price.
I bought the camera earlier this summer and literally filmed around the house with it and took it outside once to shoot about 1/2 an hour of tape.
This camera, for the most part, hasn't seen any serious action. It's never been in a production environment and its never been used as a deck.
Hope that helps.

Eugene Kim October 16th, 2006, 02:03 AM Hi, looking for a generic 100mm cast iron hi-hat like the kind sold by film tools.
Thanks.
David Gemmell October 16th, 2006, 03:11 AM Thanks Bruce,
Your comments make a lot of sense.
The cost of the FU 1000, plus the "Ronsrail" I badly need and the ZR 1000 - it all adds up. Thought I would try and reduce the cost, by trading the FU 500 - expecting I would never part with the XL2.
Might just keep the FU 500 - just in case...
Jon Bickford October 16th, 2006, 03:57 AM Century Optics 0.6X and Eos Elan7NE still available
Marty Hudzik October 16th, 2006, 07:36 AM The Buffalo Link Theater is a traditional DVD player with the added features listed below. This is the "full sized" player and not the new "mini" that does not inlcude a DVD player.
-Upsamples DVDs to 720 or 1080i depending on your setup
-plays HD mpgs, HD wmv files and just about any format you can imagine
-plays from DVDs, CDs, external USB or network. (even streams ripped DVDs from PC)
-wired or wireless ethernet connection
-also plays music files, cd audio, dolby digital, DTS, etc.
The reason I bought this was for my HVX200. I could edit on my PC. Author a HD mpg file (or wmv) and burn it to a standard DVD data disc. When you place the DVD into the player you simply see a list of files. you click on the one you want and it plays. In glorious HD. Works like a champ.
I recently started saving my HD mpgs and wmv files to a portable hard drive and used it to play via the USB port too. I also stream these from my PC directly to the player. It is very versatile and a realistic way to view your files on your HDTV.
The reason I am selling it? I recently built a Media Center PC and found out it can stream HD video to my XBOX360 and I use that to view my HD edited footage. The XBOX 360 will not upsample DVDs however and it will not play divx and non standard Mpg2 and wmv files. Not a big deal to me....but other may need to play other formats and the Link Theater delivers.
I paid $300 for this badboy in May. I am selling for $175 plus paypal fees if you choose paypal.
email me with any questions.
Thanks.

Dan Keaton October 16th, 2006, 11:35 AM Dear David,
Are there really two versions of the FU-1000 viewfinder, one NTSC and one pal? I was not aware that there were two separate versions.

Thanks
Dan Mumford October 16th, 2006, 06:34 PM Never mind. Gone to ebay.

David Gemmell October 17th, 2006, 12:35 AM Hi Dan,
I noticed an FU 1000 for sale and the seller (from the UK) spoke about how it was an NTSC version but he managed to change a few settings and convert it to a PAL version. So I assume they come in both versions - hence my specific request for a PAL version.
I would be interested in any comments from others on this issue.
David Cubbage October 17th, 2006, 02:12 AM For sale; Fujinon Wide Converter WCV-82SC for JVC HD100 stock lens. As new, used for 1 project only. Cost £410 plus VAT; selling for £200 plus shipping. Based in the UK.
Marty Hudzik October 17th, 2006, 08:44 AM Sadly I have to part with my near new XL-H1. I bought it in mid June and have hardly used it. I had just sold my house and ended up moving 2 times in 2 months so I barely have had time to use it. I am finally settled down in a new house and unfortunately money is super tight so I must make sacrifices.
Here is what I have:
Canon XL-H1 with all accessories included in original box.
Canon 16x manual lens
Tamrac Bag that holds XL-H1 and accessories including extra lens
I need to get $7600 for the entire kit.
I will not sell the lens seperate unless I sell the H1 first.
The Tamrac Bag cost me $250 but I am including it at no charge.
The H1 with Tamrac Bag without the extra lens will be $7100.
I have barely used this. I may have shot 10 hours tops.
Let me know via email if you are interested. I need to clear the amounts listed so while I will accept Paypal we will need to add on 3% for fees. If you check my history you will see that I have sold 2-3 high end cameras through here and I have never scammed anyone. In short you can trust me.
Peace!
Rafael Lopes October 17th, 2006, 11:22 AM Ok, how about 75$ plus shipping?
Ken Grohs October 17th, 2006, 01:19 PM Marshall, B&H has 'em for $648 NEW....did you overpay for yours?
That's for an FS-4 by itself.
Note the "extra battery". Not cheap.
Bob Sandifer October 17th, 2006, 07:09 PM ok..even thought there is no interest in this package I need to say I put another hour on the heads this past weekend shooting some paintball action.
I also needed to mention that I would throw in a copy of final cut express with this package.
Danny Jones October 17th, 2006, 07:32 PM I sent you email...you get it?

Jeff Carbello October 18th, 2006, 01:06 AM These were from Magnolia Audio Video which are a authorized dealer of Canon. Brand new in box never used.
I was able to get 4 of these and am keeping 2 of them.
I love my Canon Optura 60 and thought I would help others locate some available since they are hard to come by.
Date on invoice from Magnolia Audio Video is 8/31/06 so you have lots of time left on that 1 yr warranty, just send in the card.
I may list one of these on eBay but the other is available to others here on a first come first serve basis. Make me a reasonable offer. These are currently going for $400 - 600 now on eBay, best offer by Monday gets the item.
I can be best contacted via email via this forum.
