Scott Brickert September 29th, 2006, 01:13 PM .......sold! George Bean September 29th, 2006, 01:18 PM Just a follow up I had inquired about the mic and may also be interested in the sony video light but have not received an email. At your convenience let me know the status, THANKS. Geoff Mark September 29th, 2006, 02:20 PM That's a great question & I couldn't agree more. I have a TRV950, and need a second camera that I can seamlessly edit back & forth between it and my current camera. My assumption is, get another TRV950 & I'll have no worries. Obviously, I'd rather buy two newer, matching cameras, but that's not an option right now. If you know of another camera that shoots footage exactly like a TRV950, I am all ears! I'm not an expert by any means, just looking for a solution to my problem. Thanks! Tim Le September 29th, 2006, 03:04 PM I have a TRV900 with original box and accessories. If you're interested, PM me. Amit Sitapara September 29th, 2006, 03:24 PM The Trv900 and the Trv950 have far differant video quality. More specifically, their "colors" are differant. People say that the Trv900 has "warmer" colors such as the older Sony DCR vx1000 while the trv950 has "colder" colors such as the Sony DCR Vx2000. Basically what I'm saying is...don't mix footage between the two, it just won't look the same. Get another TRV-950. Philippe Messier September 29th, 2006, 05:16 PM Hi there, For how much are you willing to let it go. I might be interested. Thank you Philippe Riley Harmon September 29th, 2006, 06:10 PM I am wanting to sell my 15" PowerBook G4 to get a desktop. I have taken extreme care of it. Never had one problem. Newer version (no ram issues) 128GFX, 1GIG Ram, 80GIG HD, Tiger, still has 2 years of apple care. I am looking to get as much back as possible since the machine is like-new condition. I'd like to give people on the forum seniority before I go the ebay route. Any offers? 15.4" Powerbook G4 1.67 (PowerPC) 1G DDR Ram 80G Harddrive SuperDrive DVD Drive (DVD-R, -RW, +R, +RW) Bluetooth & Airport Extreme Firewire 400 & 800 USB 2.0 DVI & S-Video Output to external display 128MB Radeon 9700 Pro Graphics Card 10/100/1000 Built in Ethernet 2 Years Remaining Apple Care Warranty Scott Webster September 29th, 2006, 06:19 PM still looking You and 500 others when the Red launches :) Scott Webster September 29th, 2006, 06:21 PM I'm interested in the MovieTube if you have some more details. Where are you based? Erik Vilinskas September 29th, 2006, 07:10 PM I'm looking for a Bogen 3067 dolly. Do you have one you'd like to sell? Thanks. Charles Papert September 29th, 2006, 07:10 PM ...and 462 of them will be suddenly realizing they aren't going to be able to afford to own all the gear they've been dreaming of! Dino Santoro September 29th, 2006, 09:48 PM If anyone has one, let me know. Marcus Marchesseault September 30th, 2006, 12:12 AM Does that mean there will be 462 slightly-used Red bodies selling for cheap next year?! :) I wish I could afford a Red...maybe my 2009 upgrade will be a Red... Marcus Marchesseault September 30th, 2006, 12:19 AM Pending final delivery, the VX2000 is sold! I'm glad I didn't have to go to ebay. The Letus35A is still for sale @ $225 or best reasonable offer. I'll try to get a camera for pictures, but it isn't much to look at. This is the unpainted extruded aluminum body style. Regardless of it's appearance, it is working perfectly. I TOTALLY FORGOT! The Letus35A I have is made with the NIKON mount. Sorry for leaving that out. Dave Frank September 30th, 2006, 01:07 AM Thanks Jon! Tom Hardwick September 30th, 2006, 05:05 AM Or better yet get a PDX10 and have the best of both worlds. The PDX10 is a TRV950 with proper widescreen, a decent wide-angle coverage and XLR inputs and so on and will have much more sales appeal when you finally move onto HDV. It still suffers the CCD smear of the 950 and you still will have no idea as to the amount of ND that's been applied and the chips are quite a bit smaller than on the 900 but at least it takes the same batteries as the 950. tom. Charles Perkins September 30th, 2006, 10:55 AM any news on this? Juan Rivera September 30th, 2006, 11:27 AM Email has been sent.... Thanks Marty Hudzik September 30th, 2006, 11:42 AM Not whining or anything but I sent you a couple of emails directly from this site. I also sent some to another person selling stuff on here and nobody has responded to me. I am thinking mail is not working properly.....did you get an email from me through dvinfo.net ? Last year when I sold my XL2 here I never received emails on it....then after it was sold I got 5-6 emails all dated prior to the sale that had appeared to have been qeued up.....hmmmm.. Thanks! Geoff Mark September 30th, 2006, 01:41 PM Thanks, Tom - that's exactly the info I needed! Now I'm looking for a used PDX10 to buy. Anyone? Anyone? - Geoff Charles Perkins September 30th, 2006, 02:03 PM who did you send them to? i haven't recived anything, but i dont think you sent them to me. also, any email i ahve sent through this site has worked quickly and easily. David Mesloh September 30th, 2006, 02:51 PM I've been out of town on a family situation. just got back in town to check e-mails. the lens has already been purchased. Marty Hudzik September 30th, 2006, 03:29 PM To clarify, I sent the emails to David who is selling (sold) the lens. I am still wondering if he ever got them. I also have sent emails through this site to 2 others who are selling and have gotten no response. In the past when I was selling an item I didn't get 4-5 emails for a week. They all came after I sold it, yet they were sent while I still had it for sale. Sorry for any confusion. It just stinks if you send an email to buy an item and then the seller never gets it. Hopefully this is not the case this time Peace! Jaadgy Akanni October 1st, 2006, 12:17 AM Very few hours of use, 20hrs at most. Contact jinxmedo@yahoo.com. Marcus Marchesseault October 1st, 2006, 06:10 AM The Letus has been sold. Dino Santoro October 1st, 2006, 06:32 AM Looking for something that will fit on a dvx100a, preferably with a power source. Would prefer to find something close to Toronto, or at least that can get here very fast. I need it for next weekend. Scott Hayes October 1st, 2006, 07:12 AM If you want to split it, I will take the head ASAP. Please let me know. Patrick Coker October 1st, 2006, 07:19 AM Cleaning out my equipment closet and came across this wide angle conversion lens. The model # is VW-LW3007. If anyone can use it make a decent offer and it is yours! Greg Milneck October 1st, 2006, 07:40 AM You and 500 others when the Red launches :) a good set of primes cost more than the entire Red Rig Ari Shomair October 1st, 2006, 08:13 AM I have a Sony HVL-20DM Duel Video Light (10 or 20 watt switchable) w / Power-200 QM91 Battery for sale - the only problem is that in order to charge it you either need an external battery charger or a sony camera :( Mike Mckeough October 1st, 2006, 08:56 AM Canon XL1s very low hours excellent condition. Includes: Canon Xl1s with 16x lens Two Batteries Battery Charger Stereo Mic Owners Manual Remote Control Original Box $1700.00 Here is the pics http://www.palsmediagroup.com/ Chuck Wall October 1st, 2006, 11:29 AM Hi I am selling my XLH1 which has an estimated 10 hrs or less on it. I have arranged with canon service to read out and document the usage as proof. There is nothing wrong with it and it has been stored in a hard shell pelican case since I got it. My reason for selling is simple, I had bought it for a project that fell through and I held on to it hoping to rent it out... I have had no luck there either... Please contact me directly at chuck at shadysidepa.com Thanks Chuck Mike Teutsch October 1st, 2006, 11:36 AM Chuck, Would save a lot of time if you give us an approximate price tag. Mike Charlie Vankirk October 1st, 2006, 12:42 PM Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've posted but gald to be back! Unfortunately times are a'changin as well as my needs so I have decided to put my Sony HC1 Camcorder up for sale so that I can purchase a new laptop that I really do need much more than my camcorder right now! I have a great package and will list everything that is included. I am curious to find out from some of you what this package might be worth. I plan to put it up on Ebay but would like some of your opinions as to what I should take minimum for it. Here is what is included: * Sony HC1 HD Camcorder (with all cables, remote control and strap) * A1U Lens Hood with lens cover (I purchased through Sony Broadcast division for $70) * HC1 lens hood with lens cover (I kept it as an extra just in case!) * BeachTek DXA-2s XLR Audio Adapter * Sony HVL-20DW2 10w/20w portable light with cold shoe bracket * 2 Sony NP-QM71D Batteries * 1 Sony NP-FM50 Battery * 1 Sony BCT-RM Portable battery charger * Sony 16mb memory stick pro duo * Rode VideoMic with custom made cold shoe adapter to mount on top of HC1 * KATA CC-191 Bag * 8' XLR Cable I really hate to have to sell it because I love the camera and my setup which I was very proud to put together. But right now I have to set my priorities straight. So, what do you all think I can get for this on Ebay? I would really appreciate your feedback! Thanks in advance! Scott Webster October 1st, 2006, 04:29 PM a good set of primes cost more than the entire Red Rig Yes I know. I've got a quote on a set of Master Primes and the LWZ-1. For our business we have to decide whether to go that way or Zeiss Digi-prime/Zoom combo. Each choice has their merits. Costs are in ballpark of each other. If we go Zeiss we cater to the RED but only as a 2/3" option but can outfit our other HD cams with Zeiss. If we go Arri we maximise the potential of RED and can also dry hire to film productions which is still a larger market than HD. Add a P&S 35 and we can also add new option for our HD camera inventory. Too early for me to make the call on such a large investment. We'll have to see what the market reaction is to the RED and who is using it for what and what accessories are expected. Certainly a 2/3" mount sooner rather than later would be appreciated! I'm betting Super Speed MKIII sets are scarce as. Good luck with your hunt! Steve Nunez October 1st, 2006, 05:20 PM Mint and boxed as when purchased new. All papers, manuals, cd's etc all still in shrink wrap......$600 takes it. (Black body) The lens is the II lens which was an updated lens- sharper in mid-range than previous lens. Paypal or local sale, NYC Jon French October 1st, 2006, 06:01 PM Alright for anyone who would like pictures just email me and I will get them sent out. Ben Lynn October 1st, 2006, 06:17 PM Sent you an email with an offer. Ben Chuck Wall October 1st, 2006, 06:50 PM Looking for 7200 for the "kit" + shipping/insurance. I am willing to use Ebays escrow service for payment protection. Camera is shipping out to Canon Oct 2 to obtain hour meter info. I also have an extra lithium cell, tripod adaptor, canon filter kit, ch910 dual charger , pelican 1610 case with dividers and a 3182 Bogen Manfrotto tripod with 503 head and carrry case. 8,000 for everything.. If you are interested specific items let me know, or make an offer. All for the most part unused. I bought a 5 pack of sony hdv (dv) tape and have two unopened! I am the only one who has used the camera and it is as new. Thanks Chuck Wall Greg Milneck October 1st, 2006, 08:17 PM Yes, Super Speed MKIII are non-existent on the used market, its hard enough to find MKII's. I recently passed on a set at $25k....they sold an hour later. Any reason you are looking at Master Primes over Ultra Primes? Ultra Primes are much cheaper and IMO look better. Master Primes are too sharp...wow cant believe thats a problem, but I like the look of UP's. I think I'll just go ahead and order a new set of UP's...cant seem to find anything used and been looking for over 6 months. BTW- what is the LWZ going for? Mike Mckeough October 1st, 2006, 09:03 PM Camera is sold Abdulla Bastaki October 2nd, 2006, 02:10 AM - (if you have a 24mm/28mm f2.0 in any *nikon/canon fd* please do mention) - (preferred) i'll pay $250 if you have all the following lenses as a kit in nikon or canon fd. 24mm OR 28mm f2.0 ($75) 50mm f1.4 ($60) 85mm f1.8 ($100) Everything is negotiable. Shipment through USPS. Payment through Western Union or Bank Transfer. sorry guys i wish, and i really do cuz this wouldve been way easier if i could buy the stuff off of ebay along with the other stuff.. paypal wouldn't add UAE on their list =( if theres another way to insure payment/shipment please do tell me. thanks. Abdulla Bastaki October 2nd, 2006, 08:05 AM which is why it ain't a bad idea to make an adapter for them canon lenses... if ure a big zeiss.. leica fan.. you could get used 35mm still photo lenses and make a pl mount for em.. if canon lenses are good enough for a 16.7 megapixel camera .. they sure would be good enough for a 12mp one. the complications would be controlling the aperature.. canon lenses have shuttering aperatures.. so keeping the aperature on is one.. and the other is controlling it. adding a nice adaptive focus sorta thing on to the adapter would be awesome. and if ure onto something big.. and you can't risk it.. you can always rent super speeds.. cooke's.. you can purchase a set of primes for around 10k for mkII zeiss primes.. i think.. not sure. ull get a set of 6 lenses.. or maybe 7. Ken Grohs October 2nd, 2006, 09:47 AM It just stinks if you send an email to buy an item and then the seller never gets it. Yep. This has happened to me recently as well. Makes it pretty difficult doesn't it? I find it hard to believe that several sellers are choosing to not respond simultaneously, although it could be a conspiracy. 8-/ Samwise Thompson October 2nd, 2006, 09:53 AM I am selling my Canon XL-2. Will ship to US. It is pristine, with 20x lens, remote, 2 batts, Charger, and Porta Brace bag. E-mail for pics. I am asking $3000.00 obo. It is just too much camera for me. I am getting a GL-2 instead. Thanks! Nick Hiltgen October 2nd, 2006, 02:10 PM and of hte 38 remaining red operators half of them will realize that unless they bring a huge HD-SDI raid array they have nothing to capture to... there's a palce out of ohio that sells used video and film equipment, (http://www.visualproducts.com/store04.asp?ID=26&Cat=8&Cat2=18) Tony Tibbetts October 2nd, 2006, 05:31 PM I am selling my Letus for $500 that includes shipping USPS Priority Mail (w/ insurance) to anywhere in the continental US. It has barely been used. I will accept paypal from a confirmed address. Thanks. Brian Scott Fitzgerald October 2nd, 2006, 06:07 PM Is this the XL? What version` Louis Maddalena October 2nd, 2006, 06:14 PM do you have Pictures? Greg Milneck October 2nd, 2006, 07:02 PM Thanks, but those Super Speeds have been gone for a long time....I dont understand why the leave the listing online. |
