John Inman January 24th, 2006, 05:56 PM Sold and shipped to Daniel Lucas of Toronto, Canada Thanks for the interest! Cesar Ruiz January 24th, 2006, 06:38 PM Note: the firewire port doesn't work because I accidentally used a faulty 6pin to 4pin adapter (lesson learned, never trust firewire adapters). Cesar Ruiz January 24th, 2006, 08:10 PM SOLD to the gentleman from the lovely city by the bay! Emre Safak January 24th, 2006, 08:22 PM Good luck! Bogdan Apetri January 24th, 2006, 08:40 PM Oh well, it's not like I actually need good luck. Nobody's interested in those issues and owners are desperately trying to get rid of them for aproximately 2 cents a piece. So far I've collected 5 (five) issues featuring Full Metal Jacket, 8 (eight) issues with Clockwork Orange and 14 (fourteen) of those discussing 2001:A Space Odyssey. Steve Gill January 24th, 2006, 08:57 PM Looking to move my XL1s....very low hours Comes with all the standard accessories plus 3 heavy duty batteries and a Lowepro carry case. $2600 Canadian or best offer. Steve Scott Brickert January 24th, 2006, 09:17 PM Everything is still for sale as priced. Scott Bryon Akerman January 24th, 2006, 10:04 PM Hey Everyone, I just wanted to jump on here real quick and give some praise where it is due I have been looking for the 16x manual lens for my xl1s. Jim Karrels emailed me that he had one for sale. I asked for some pictures and he sent them to me and offered to send more if I wanted any other angle taken. He was asking only$1050.00, plus paypal charge and shipping, so of course I jumped on it. I asked if he would expedite the shipping to me and he agreed. Well, I just recieved, hooked it up, and let me tell you, it is a thing of beauty. I carefully inspected it and found it to be in pristine condidtion. I have bought nearly all of my expansive rig for my camera online, some new, but most of it used. I must say that my transaction with Jim was by far the best. If you ever have the opportunity to do business with Jim, I HIGHLY recommend it. Bryon<>< Nick Weeks January 24th, 2006, 10:05 PM Excellent price... kudos to you and Jim both Al Atkinson-Sirois January 24th, 2006, 10:25 PM Got an original-version Shuttlepro up for sale. Ash Greyson January 24th, 2006, 11:49 PM Weights? I have the unit in the picture as shown... didnt know there were any weights. ash =o) Andrew Todd January 25th, 2006, 12:24 AM owners are desperately trying to get rid of them for aproximately 2 cents a piece. who would try to desperately get rid of anything for 2 cents? :) David Morton January 25th, 2006, 06:10 AM E-Mail sent Patrick Moreau January 25th, 2006, 08:28 AM Sent you an email from outside of the US. Ken Grohs January 25th, 2006, 09:19 AM Scott, you have mail. Bigo Hoggins January 25th, 2006, 09:45 AM Weights? I have the unit in the picture as shown... didnt know there were any weights. ash =o) The VS-1's has a unique base that allows you to retract the legs, which in turn enables you to use it as a tripod. Each system is manufactured with the weights at the base for counter balance. You can adjust, remove or add to, depending on your needs. Extra weights are provided for your convenience I just seen this in the description is why I asked.... Bogdan Apetri January 25th, 2006, 09:59 AM I don't know, there's something about those particular issues... when I said 2 cents, I was speaking metaphorically, actually, yes, they go for about 25 cents each. Chris Davis January 25th, 2006, 10:31 AM I have one, and it makes editing in Vegas a joy. Get one, and you'll never want to be without it. Chris Davis January 25th, 2006, 10:41 AM Video Innovators shoulder support $20 plus actual shipping. I bought this to use with my GL2. While the GL2 fits just fine, it places the LCD just a few inches too close to my face. My eyes are not what they used to be and can't focus that close! Perfect condition. Send your zip code for a shipping quote. PayPal accepted. http://www.famousdavis.net/images/shoulderrest1.jpg Scott Hayes January 25th, 2006, 10:45 AM will that thing support a Z1, or FX1? Chris Davis January 25th, 2006, 11:12 AM Sorry, I'm not familiar with the size of the Z1 or FX1. It has a standard 1/4-20 camera screw mount (the same size you'd find on any tripod) so you can mount almost any camera on it. The mounting thumbscrew can move forward/backwards about four inches to accommodate different camera sizes. The area where you mount the camera is covered with a rubber pad to protect the bottom of your camera from scratches. Perhaps I will try to take a picture of it with my GL2 mounted to give you a better idea of the size. K. Forman January 25th, 2006, 11:33 AM I feel your pain Chris... I almost need to mount my cam on a trombone slide ;) Give us a pic though, I could use some support on my GL1. Dino Santoro January 25th, 2006, 11:43 AM Hey there, I'm looking for a good boom pic to use with my DVX, preferably the ME66 or K6. Any out there? Dino Dino Santoro January 25th, 2006, 12:00 PM I meant boom MIC! Chris Davis January 25th, 2006, 12:29 PM Here's the mount with a GL2 in the forward position: http://www.famousdavis.net/images/gl2a.jpg Here it is with the camera moved to the rearmost position: http://www.famousdavis.net/images/gl2b.jpg The shipping weight is 2 lbs from zip code 56201, by UPS, parcel post or priority mail. Jong Cortez January 25th, 2006, 12:46 PM hi kim, requesting photos of the FX1, email me at jong_cortez@yahoo.com, jongcortez_subicbay@yahoo.com, jong_cortez@gmail.com. thanks and god bless! Boyd Ostroff January 25th, 2006, 12:54 PM will that thing support a Z1, or FX1? They're great for the Z1 - see the following: http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?t=57910 FWIW, I mount my camera all the way at the back of the front slot which puts it in a pretty good position for the LCD screen. You might want to move forward a little to suit personal preference. K. Forman January 25th, 2006, 12:57 PM One last question- does it work with a quick release? Scott Hayes January 25th, 2006, 12:59 PM I think he is only selling the regular version and not the pro. I would have bought this already had it been the pro version. Boyd Ostroff January 25th, 2006, 01:14 PM From the photo he posted it looks exactly like the shoulder rest I'm using on my Z1. It's confusing because I think their models may be named "pro" and "super pro" or something silly like that. I got mine used as well and there is no label to indicate the model number, but it appears to be identical to Chris' photo. K. Forman January 25th, 2006, 01:16 PM I looked at the site, and saw two almost identical models. The first says it works with a quick release, but not the second one. Ari Shomair January 25th, 2006, 01:19 PM Emailed you regarding it - Scott Hayes January 25th, 2006, 01:22 PM I checked their site, and the pro model looks a bit bigger. shoulder support is wider. ah hell. I will take it. shipping to 40509? Chris Davis January 25th, 2006, 02:36 PM I checked their site, and the pro model looks a bit bigger. shoulder support is wider. ah hell. I will take it. shipping to 40509?$8.66 for UPS or $5.15 by Priority Mail. I can ship it today if you want to pay with PayPal. Michael Dalton January 25th, 2006, 03:23 PM I'm still looking for a 1.6 extender for the XL1 that goes between the lens and body. I am also intrested in renting or borrowing if you are in the Toronto Area. Michael email me, address is above. Brian Kennedy January 25th, 2006, 03:30 PM If it doesn't work out with Ari, I'm interested. Joven OHara January 25th, 2006, 04:07 PM Scott- I sent you an email also.. Chris Davis January 25th, 2006, 04:42 PM Item Sold! If you are near an airport America West Flies to it may be possible to hand deliver the mic. Rick Jones January 25th, 2006, 08:06 PM I just got my XL2 and need to get up to speed quickly. Hope this will help. I'll take it. Let me know how you want payment. Rick Mike Coco January 25th, 2006, 09:26 PM I have an absolutely flawless Nikon 70-200 vr (usa) lens that has had FIVE pictures shot thorugh it! I bought the lens new from B&H. They sell there for over 1600.00. I used it one time on a Nikon D70. I am "bored" with stills and I want to get into video. I have decided on a vx2100 after reading on this forum and some other sites. I want to do wildlife photography and I like the reported low light abiltiy of the 2100. I would like to trade the lens toward a vx2100. I have never posted on this forum but I have a 100% rating on ebay and I am a verified paypal user. Thanks for any interest. Mike Coco Paris, Texas Daniel Riser January 25th, 2006, 10:20 PM I am not sure who made the sticks but they are heavy duty enough for me to jump on! (pics upon request) The tilt tends to stick a little bit and the handle needs to be removed and recentered. It's a big head (150 mm mount) I'm asking $250 for the head, sticks and spreader. OBO Email me at reelvisionfilms@gmail.com Thanks, Daniel Riser Matthew Nayman January 26th, 2006, 12:02 AM Would that be a pic of you Jumping on it? Ash Greyson January 26th, 2006, 01:11 AM Just checked the box and it has some screws, some adjustment wrenches and 2 weights. This unit looks to be in excellent condition, I just know nothing about it, hence the excellent price. I will not go lower so please dont ask. At $125 I am only going to clear $110 or so when I could get $150 + shipping on eBay. Just would rather not hassle with eBay and help someone out here... ash =o) |
