hey y'all-- i went the open-box route recently when i got my Optura 50, and it did'nt have a shoulder strap with it. The kind of action i have in mind for this cam will require a strap, so i just dug out my XL-1's strap (SS-1000, according to the manual) and it fits perfectly! Very butch for such a tiny camera.

To the point: i'd like to get another XL series shoulder strap so i don't have to cannibalize the one off my XL-1. Apparently all the XL line-- XL-1, XL-1S, XL-2 and even XL-H1 -- were/are issued with that same SS-1000 strap.

GL-series camera straps would work fine too, i'm not picky.

So c'mon gang-- i know there are folks out there who've never used their strap and have it sitting in a box in a closet in a mystery location somewhere-- i'll give it a good home!

Best,

I have a Sennheiser ME64 with the K6 powering module. It has a little foam piece that goes over the front to cut down noise. It works perfectly and is great for mounting on the camera. Hardly used.

Varizoom VZ-TFT7U 7-Inch Widescreen Color LCD Monitor Kit, includes Carry Case, Li-Ion Battery and Charger, Shoe Mount, Sun Hood, AC Adapter, Car Adapter and Cables.

Comes with above AND:
VA-VZ702M Battery with Charger Package for TFT Varizoom Monitors
Varizoom VZ-B72 Replacement Lithium Ion Battery Pack

So total of 3 batteries and two chargers are with this. Item was used for one shoot and is in almost new condition. Item was purchased brand new before shoot. Only reason I'm selling is I want to build myself a mini video village and am funding that.

Brand new, all would cost $590 + shipping from BH. Asking $500 + reasonable shipping. All offers considered.

Thanks.

-1 vx2000
-1 Vanguard hard case for VX
-2 batteries ( 1 10 hour and 1 6 hour)
-1 beachtek dxa8
-1 atr55shotgun mic
-all original accessories except USB reader(original box too)

The camera is owned by a professional production company and has been used as a secondary camera. Very sturdy and reliable. Barely any blemishes on body.

The DXA8 has had some problems, the gold connector that plugs into the mic port is a bit faulty, nothing Beachtek can't fix. So if secured properly, the unit works fine, but would recommend a tune up from Beachtek for optimal performance.

Will post pics soon

Thanks.............. how long ago did you see that?

Fry'soutpost has nothing listed......... I'll check the local store tonight.

edit: The fine folks (LOL) at Fry's told me to go pound sand. "No HC1 for you!" Darn, I was really looking forward to another real fine Fry's CS experience.

I can't figure out how to edit the post, but after looking at some prices I think I'm overshooting with the $4500 for the camera and lens. $4100 sound more reasonable. If anyone has bought a lightly used XL-2 and/or lens let me know if that price is reasonable.

Thanks,

Jamie

Ideal for simple interviews on the run, the 500 watt instrument has plenty of punch. Lowel Stand, SP translucent umbrella, very used Photoflex Silver / Black Reflector with cover and 8 new replacement reflectors for the Lowel V. The Tenba Bag is in great shape and holds everything but the Photoflex Reflector.

All these goodies for only $150 plus shipping.

I also have a Chimera Speed Ring if you want to use the V with a softbox. I am selling that for $80. That is $40 less than the B&H price.

i bought this at trew audio about a year ago. it operates on a single 9v battery and provides power to microphones that require 48v phantom power. i used this with cameras that did not have native 48v phantom power capability, and it's proven itself to be an extremely reliable, rugged, and portable power solution.
asking $80 firm (+ actual shipping + 3% paypal).

Sorry to hear John. But I did see that price in the store on June 7 and it sure looked tempting.

So did the Fry's folks say they were out of stock for good or that they wouldn't give you that price?
