Tomas Chinchilla June 23rd, 2006, 11:07 PM I have decided to put my iMac for sale and get me an actual tower & 30” Monitor for HD pro-video editing, so here it is.
iMac G5 2.0 GHZ
17-Inch
1 GB of memory 400 MHz PC3200 DDR SDRAM
level 2 cache
160 GB (7200 RPM) Serial ATA hard drive
a vertically-mounted, slot-loading 8X double layer SuperDrive (DVD+R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
ATI Radeon 9600 graphics acceleration with 128 MB of DDR SDRAM (AGP 8X)
AirPort Extreme, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and Gigabit Ethernet pre-installed
I comes with the latest version of Microsoft Office (http://www.microsoft.com/mac/), Virtual PC 7 (http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/virtualpc/virtualpc.aspx?pid=virtualpc) and the latest iLife (http://www.apple.com/ilife/), Final Cut Express HD, and the best part:
Apple care with almost 2 years left if not the whole 2.
Basically brand new with no cosmetic scratches or anything as I am very anal with my stuff
This is a great deal considering the warranty alone + the extra 512MB of memory.
Or make me a better offer.
Need to sell quickly, I live in Dunwoody and will only sell local, no shipping or any funny business involved.
(DO NOT CONTACT ME IF YOU DON’T LIVE IN GA) (AND NO, I WILL NOT ACEPT WESTERN UNION)

Todd Kivimaki June 24th, 2006, 10:04 PM Still for sale, now taking offers, I need to get rid of this (but not give away) to pay for new gear.
Tyge Floyd June 24th, 2006, 11:35 PM I bought one of Greg's XL2's and shot some video this evening and into the night of a friend's son racing his motorcycle at a local motocross track. The camera is in PRISTINE condition, not a scratch or scuff on it anywhere. My wife even commented that it sure seemed like a great buy (And folks, that's unheard of!). It's obvious that Greg takes great care of his equipment. If I had the need for it or the extra money, I'd snatch the one he has left up as well.
Bar none the best used piece of equipment I've ever purchased. Thanks, Greg.
Greg Boston June 24th, 2006, 11:41 PM The camera is in PRISTINE condition, not a scratch or scuff on it anywhere. My wife even commented that it sure seemed like a great buy (And folks, that's unheard of!). It's obvious that Greg takes great care of his equipment.
Thanks Tyge for the kind words. I learned a long time ago that if you don't take care of your tools, they won't take care of you when it counts. BTW, the camera has had nothing but TDK in it so if you're going to switch, run a head cleaner through it.

Patrick Moreau June 25th, 2006, 08:21 PM Mike,
The email you sent me bounced back so I'll post the info here:
The Vx2100 is the fourth cam I use at weddings and my second vx2100 so it has seen very little use. It is in absolute mint condition, indistinguishable from new beside light scuffing on the lens hood. The lens is mint. The package would come with everything original, I think I also have the box and manuals, plus I could include an extra long life battery. I was hoping to get $1800Us for the unit. Please let me know if your interested.
Todd Kivimaki June 25th, 2006, 08:26 PM Paypal is fine, we also accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, which I would prefer because my rate is lower then paypal.
I have some other accessories that are for sale also.
Beach Tek DXA-4 XLR adapter
Sony Wide angle adapter
Video ProM tripod
Audio Technica ATR55 Shotgun Mic
King Pelican 1600 case (large watertight case)
Thanks,
Todd

Do you still have all the original accessories that came with the camera? What's your bottom price? I'm also looking at a VX2100 from a member of this board as well.
Thanks,
Tran.
Todd Kivimaki June 25th, 2006, 09:48 PM I only have the camera, lens hood, lens cap, eye piece, and power cord. I think that leaves the remote and the box that I don't have, oh yea and the manual but that can be downloaded.
I was thinking $1800 plus shipping for the entire package (I will pay paypal fee)
$1550 for the camera alone.
Henry Cho June 25th, 2006, 09:50 PM that's correct.

More than 48 hours passed since you started your thread and you posted a second post. I believe that after a set amount of time has elapsed, the original poster cannot edit their post. Instead, they must do what you did--post a new post.
Tomas Chinchilla June 27th, 2006, 12:15 PM Weird, I could swear I've done this before, but hey.
Shane Valdez June 27th, 2006, 12:20 PM 350$ and I'll pay for shipping.

EF Adapter XL Allows you to use over 50 different Canon EF lenses on the XL-1. Simply mount the adapter between the XL-1, XL-2, XL-H1 and an EOS lens and your capabilities are dramatically expanded. Potential focal range, from extreme wide to super telephoto (in 35mm equivalent), is 24mm to 17,280mm.
I accept paypal.
email me at: realm@realmfilms.com
Shane Valdez June 27th, 2006, 12:30 PM Oh and the reason why that second picture is on my desk next to my computer, is because I never used this adaptor more then 5 times so it just sat there just like that picture.
Shane.

dont know how you would get to 24mm ? that would require a 3mm lens
on the other end of course you can get a 1200 (if you have enouhg money) add a 2xTC and get to about 19000 but it will cost you about 80000 US. A 600 with 2 2x TC's would work too of course and a lot cheaper ...

Patrick Moreau June 27th, 2006, 03:00 PM We have a bunch of gear to move out and we have compiled a rather large list. Prices do not include shipping but we do have access to discounted shipping by Candapost. Plenty of feedback on ebay, lots of transactions here, and feedback from other internet forums. We are posting the list without photos today (any imperfections are listed) and will post photos of anything not sold over the next 2-3 days.
Please email for contact number, any questions, or if you need photos before buying. Will ship from Canada, so no taxes for Canadian or US buyers.

Jamie Baughman June 27th, 2006, 09:59 PM Canon XL-2 mini-dv and 20X lens camera kit. Comes with original packaging and all original components (e.g., camera body, 20X lens, lens hood, BP-930 battery, charger and ac adapter, strap, documentation, remote, etc.) plus an extra battery (BP-945). I'm also selling the Canon 3X lens. I'd like to sell them together as they make a nice team. A little about the camera and lens. The camera's life has been spent primarily shooting legal video and depositions. What this means is that I used the heads very little (about 50-75 hours run time and NEVER used as a deck). For the legal stuff I record right on to DVD and VHS. I bought it thinking I'd shoot more with it, but I started getting more shooting gigs with Varicam and F900 so my camera wasn't really useful. I always ended up using rentals. I know I don't need to sing its praises on this board as I know every already knows about the camera in detail. The camera has been treated like my own son and I hate to part with it, but I'm just not using it as much as it warrants. This camera is screaming to be used in a little indie feature. Grab a matte box, focus pull, a micro dolly, a gaffer, some HMI's and you're there! In all seriousness, it's a great camera, in great shape. I'm shooting for $4500 but I'm a little out of touch with prices. So let me know if that's not reasonable. But at any rate, make an offer.
I also have two powerbooks, one 17" and one a 12". They are also in great shape. The 17" is 1 year old and has never been disconnected from AC power and the 12" is 1.5 years old and has about 50/50 battery to AC. The 12" has an additional 1GB memory added to it bringing the ram to 1.5 GB. The 17" has just the 512MB that it came with. If you're interested in the computers shoot me an email and I'll give you more details.
12" - $1500
17" - $2400
Thanks in advance.
Matthew Nayman June 28th, 2006, 05:48 AM Can the Iris of EF lenses be controlled via the Adapter?
Steven Davis June 28th, 2006, 06:20 AM I guess I'm looking for a backup to my AT835. I'd like to mount it on my Z1, so a shorty would be nice. I'm just posting to see if anyone has one for sale here before I tackle the stores.
Patrick Moreau June 28th, 2006, 12:04 PM I would be interested in trades involving a wide angle lens for the FX1, eartec commnication system, uhf wireless lav mic setup, glidecam 2 or 4000, as well as a smaller (15-19") LCD but it would need to be black and only on trade for some of the smaller items.
Thanks
Shane Valdez June 28th, 2006, 04:39 PM Can the Iris of EF lenses be controlled via the Adapter?
The camera still has IRIS control with the adaptor.
