Jason Chang March 16th, 2006, 07:41 PM Used it on 3 docs, this DVX100 produces the most filmlike footage I've ever seen. It is in perfect working order. It comes with two batteries (1 extended life battery), charger and a carrying case. $1800 takes it.

Patrick Moreau March 16th, 2006, 07:54 PM I have a sony high grade wide angle lens, 58mm same as the one that ships with the PD170- looking for $200CDN or 170US.
I also have two light sets. One is Smith Victor, it offers 500W or 1000W switchable with a built in reflector to soften the output and an 8 foot light stand. Looking for $120CDN or 100US.
Works great to light up dance floors or shed more light on the podium for speeches. Also have a Yake 250W light with dual stage soft box and 8 ft light stand. This light can be operated at 1/8th power continuous up to full power. Softbox quickly packs away and comes with its own case. Looking for 120CDN or 100US.
I also have a nice lav mic, it is the azden proa that can run powered or with phantom power, has an XLR jack and is designed for vocals or instruments. It is almost a $200 lav mic. Looking for 65 USor 75 CDN.
Plenty of successful deals through this board and ebay. Contact me for more info, pics, or home contact information.

Tim Durham March 17th, 2006, 10:29 PM Hi,
Everything is sold except for the tripod. To answer anyone with further questions about it, the tripod is excellent, the head is NOT so excellent.
Here is a PDF:
http://www.vinten.com/uploads/documents/ProtouchUK-2004.pdf
I mistakenly called it a "Vision" 5 which it is not. It's a "Protouch" 5. Anyway, good tripod, crappy head. $500 + shipping. It's like new and I'll throw in the Canon quick release plate.
Tim
Dave Frank March 18th, 2006, 12:33 AM It definitely exists, but I doubt you'll find it here. Check out

Emre Safak March 18th, 2006, 10:42 AM If you really need an f/1.0 lens, you might have better luck trying to get an old manual focus on ebay.
Ben Freedman March 18th, 2006, 03:09 PM Howdy...
I'm looking for either a 501 or 503 tripod head in good condition for a good price. If you are looking to part with either, please drop me a note via ben-at-freedmanhome-dot-com.
Thanks,
Ben
Michael Salzlechner March 18th, 2006, 04:16 PM Does exist. Was discontinued a while ago. Not a very great lens in terms of quality. All kinds of issues and very expensive. Was simply a lens so canon could say they had the fastest 35mm SLR lens.
If you want something that is good and usable look for the 85 1.2 L or the 50 1.4.
Michael Calla March 18th, 2006, 06:14 PM tripod is sold.

David Mintzer March 19th, 2006, 09:40 AM Still for sale.
2/3" widescreen chips, nice lens!
Thanks
Does it come with the charger?
Nick Hiltgen March 19th, 2006, 10:30 AM Thanks guys, jsut saw it and was looking to round out a collection of L-Series primes. I'm surprised it wasn't that great considering. So for 50mm the 1.4 lens is still a good option (even though it's not an l-series?)
Thanks for the info.
Chris Lockerman March 19th, 2006, 10:35 AM I find it hard to believe that nobody picked this mic up in the three months since it was last posted...
If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the mic and why are you selling it so low?
Meryem Ersoz March 19th, 2006, 11:37 AM someone was (maybe still is?) recently selling a used one of these for $3200 at fredmiranda. so i did some quickie research on it, because fast lenses are always tempting...
all reviews indicate that the 50mm 1.4 gives just as good an image and that the 1.0 is a collector's lens--a "fetish" lens, i've heard it called....issues with the 1.0 is that autofocus is slow and it's soft wide open.
for the price, the 1.4 seems like the better option.
Keith Loh March 19th, 2006, 12:36 PM Hello guys and gals, I am selling my DSLR-ALIKE camera that has served me well the past 1 and a half years. However, I am selling only to Vancouverrites so I don't have to do the shipping hassle. I have it listed on craigslist but for DVInfoers who say they saw it on this forum I will give them a break.
FOR SALE: FUJI FINEPIX S7000 + .66x 52mm Raynox Wideangle adaptor + Raynox 52-55mm extender tube + 256mb XD card

Picture of what you get: http://www.keithloh.com/sell/finepix_andbox.jpg
About the S7000 (DPReview review): http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/fujifilms7000/
A good condition SLR-ALIKE camera for someone who wants to learn about manual controls plus retain all of the automatic settings of consumer cameras. This is what I had for a year and a half before I upgraded to a full SLR. Now someone can take this and use it to take pictures like these (and hopefully better):

As you can see I've gotten a lot of use in a variety of situations with this camera (but never been dropped or mishandled!). I used it for contract work, vacation, for web work, even used it in printing. The resolution is good enough (6.3mpx) until you get into posters (which is why I have upgraded).
I am also including the Raynox wideangle adaptor that I bought later. With the adaptor on it introduces a slight vignette on the top left hand corner that is not noticeable in most shots but obviously easily cropped out or painted out in Photoshop.
If you buy now I will leave the naked pictures I took on the 256mb XD card. Just kidding.
TERMS OF SALE
Cash or bank draft/ certified cheque in Vancouver. In person. I may ask to see ID. I am not shipping anywhere. We can arrange to meet anywhere close to Downtown.
My craigslist ad:

Nick Weeks March 19th, 2006, 02:18 PM I have a Canon hard case (not sure if its an actual Canon brand, but it fits my XL1s). It's not suitable for shipping, but its a nice case if you're in the market for a hard case. I recently bought a Portabrace bag, so I have no use for it anymore. It's used, but in good condition. Normal wear & tear. Paid $150 originally.
For the Marshall 4" LCD, I have the AC Adapter and a battery pack. Comes with original packaging and paperwork, and mount that fits the accessory bracket (hotshoe mount) on the XL cameras. The LCD has 2 inputs and outputs (BNC style connector). It also has adjustments for contrast, tint, color, and brightness. 230 lines of resolution, full color, NTSC/PAL compatiable. I personally prefer the viewfinder because I mainly do a lot of moving around and find its a little easier, so I have no use for the LCD. The LCD is almost new, almost no signs of wear. Paid $250 originally.
I'm looking for about $325 + S&H or best offer on these items. I would like to sell them together if possible. I have pictures available if anyone's interested. I will take check, money order, paypal, or escrow.com (assuming buyer pays all escrow fees). If paying by check, I'll ship as soon as it clears.
Thanks
Mark Bournes March 19th, 2006, 02:41 PM Hi, I'm looking for a used canon xl1 16x manual lens. I have a budget of $900.00

Tim Polster March 19th, 2006, 05:04 PM No, I do not have a charger, but the NP style chargers are pretty cheap on Ebay.
David, I sent you an e-mail in reply.
Thanks.
Daniel Lang March 19th, 2006, 06:36 PM Hello ya'll,
Im looking to expand my light kit. I am looking specifically for 250w to 650's. I would love fresnel's but would consider open face with barn doors. Let me know. Oh I guess I can throw this out there. I've got a couple of mics to trade with some cash. I've got an OKtava mk319 and mk219. They make great ambience mics! both run on phantom power. If your not interested in the mics that cool I've got money to burn.
Thanks,
Daniel
Tommy Haupfear March 19th, 2006, 09:26 PM I'm selling my tried and true VX2000 as I jump into the HDV waters (again). The VX2000 has had a UV filter on since day one and has never had any problems. The body is in excellent shape and all the original accessories are included save for the USB memory stick reader. It was only USB 1.1 anyway so I'll include a 12-n-1 USB 2.0 memory card reader (Sandisk ImageMate).
The price is $1500 payable by PayPal and will include 2nd day UPS shipping to anywhere in the 48 states with insurance.
Here is a pic from tonight. The on-camera light with its own charger and battery is included. I just noticed that I didn't have the remote in the picture but its included as well.

Keith Loh March 19th, 2006, 09:43 PM SOLD! Thank you for playing.
Emre Safak March 20th, 2006, 07:10 AM I don't recommend the f/1.4 if you work in the wild. I'm on my second one due to its poor sealing.
Charles Workman March 20th, 2006, 08:45 AM I'm looking to buy a good wireless lav system where I can mount the receiver to my camera. I'd prefer a unit that is frequency agile, UHF range, and has true diversity. I will pay with Paypal.
Please contact me soon,

Jim Karrels March 20th, 2006, 02:17 PM I had one -- yes, it is a fetish lens. But wow -- what bokeh!
I sold mine on FredMiranda. I find that I really like my 50 1.4 for about 1/10 the price. The 85 1.2L for about $1300 is also really great -- if you can live with that focal distance.
Ryan Nagy March 20th, 2006, 02:27 PM Im lookin to buy someones old editing computer or laptop that has a big harddrive and is fast and has no problems uploading video or editing the video. Im lookin to pay no more then $450ish. Just email me at goods4you05@yahoo.com if you have an offer. Thanks.

Mike Meyerson March 20th, 2006, 03:38 PM self-serving-bump.
Anyone interested for $1200/shipped?
Michael Salzlechner March 20th, 2006, 04:55 PM I don't recommend the f/1.4 if you work in the wild. I'm on my second one due to its poor sealing.
Not poor sealed at all. Actually not sealed at all. Neither of the 50mm lenses is sealed. Not the 50 1.8, not the 50 1.4 and the 50 1.0 is not sealed either
That doesnt mean that klenses should have issues though under normal handling. I shoot in rain very often and have shot plenty of unsealed lenses in rain and never had an issue. Dunking them in water is a different story though and even the seals will not help
David Saraceno March 20th, 2006, 08:10 PM Purchased through Sony.

Dean Sensui March 20th, 2006, 08:23 PM Charles...
The units I'm selling aren't UHF, unfortunately (Lectrosonic 185).
However, as a word of advice, you might want to take a close look at the Audio Technica ATW-101 system.
Very good performance. Seems to be reliable. Uses robust XLR and TA5F locking connectors. Good value for the dollar. UHF True diversity, and they're frequency agile.
The receiver, however, isn't small. So it depends on what kind of camera you're using. It's about 2/3 the size of an adult hand and weighs around 12 ounces.
I'm now using this system and the results have been very good.
Fred Finn March 20th, 2006, 09:07 PM No sorry. I didn't buy DVD Architect with it.
Jason Chang March 20th, 2006, 09:19 PM Hi,
I have a UHF lav system for sale. It is the Azden UDR400. The diversity receiver is camera-mountable. It has dual antenna and many channels to choose from. The casing is solid steel. Therefore very rugged. If you do a lot of field work, then you need something that's built like a tank. $250 takes it.
