I just realized it's going to be a long time before the 5d is within my grasp, so I'm going to settle. Didn't really even think about getting a 30D, but I might, depending on price. If I find a good used 20d I'll take that, otherwise a 30d will do. John McManimie February 27th, 2006, 04:38 PM Sale closed. Thanks. Please close the thread. Jimmy McKenzie March 1st, 2006, 08:15 PM Where in the USA are you? Jimmy McKenzie March 1st, 2006, 08:18 PM You might want to save the strain on your keyboard asking sellers of their XL2 cams to sell you only the viewfinder. That would be an outrageous desecration of their cam and render the rest un-sellable. ... I could be wrong .... but I don't think so. Jimmy McKenzie March 1st, 2006, 08:21 PM Duplicate. Miguel Lombana March 1st, 2006, 10:07 PM Looking for an HC1 to "play" with HDV, please email me at miguel@lauderdaledj.com if you have one and what you're willing to part with it for. Looking for best as close to new condition as possible, prefer original boxes, manuals, cables etc. Thanks. OK no replies, I get it, called Norman Camera today and found there was a price adjustment from Sony due to the camera being phased out, got a much better price than I first though for a brand new unit in the box, basically what I expected to pay for a used one. Maybe next time. Jon Wivell March 2nd, 2006, 02:33 AM Yeah, funny thing about email, it never works when you need it to. I'll resend messages to everyone, sorry about that. Miguel, it's the model WITH the film grain button. It was purchased in December of '04, so it's a little over a year old. Jimmy, I'm in Minnesota, near the Twin Cities. Matthew Nayman March 2nd, 2006, 06:02 AM I figure it can't hurt to ask. Some people out there may have the FU1000 and feel it's proper, but I do get your point. A guy can dream, can't he :) Brian Vilevac March 2nd, 2006, 07:41 AM Message sent. Jon Omiatek March 2nd, 2006, 09:13 AM You might want to re-think your price considering you can buy them new for $2995. Patrick Gault March 2nd, 2006, 10:05 AM canceled. Repackaging. Jeremy Ordan March 2nd, 2006, 10:22 AM I am looking to purchase a vest based camera stabilizer system (Smooth Shooter, MagiqCam, Steadicam Mini, ect.). Thanks Martin Martin Archer-Shee March 2nd, 2006, 04:00 PM This item is now sold to a newcomer (no posts as yet) James McDonald of Halifax, Nova Scotia. No problem, down to earth and recommend him for any future trading. Thanks Martin Jesse Stipek March 2nd, 2006, 06:02 PM Item is on hold for another buyer. Jimmy McKenzie March 2nd, 2006, 07:08 PM A guy can dream, can't he :) I would never stifle anyone's creativity or enthusiasm. You have that quality that is key in this business. Nice reply. Francois Poitras March 2nd, 2006, 07:11 PM Moving on to another project, I am selling my 35mm adapter and steel rail system: Picture of kit (http://www.ltfp.com/clips/IMG_0126_1.JPG) Here is what the kit contains: 1) One 35mm spinning adapter made after the Micro35. It features: - Adjustable Canon FD lens mount - DCX (condenser lens) - Quality macro assembly (achromat) with 72mm ring - Potentiometer to control motor speed and reduce power consumption - Materials: ABS tubing and aluminum - Works on two AA batteries inside the unit 2) Rod support system - Aluminum/stainless steel - 13” long stainless steel rods (tubes, actually) - Two 1/8” aluminum shims - 1/4-20 hole and thumbscrew for tripod mounting 3) Five optical acrylic, laser-cut GG discs + Redrock M1 GG - Three sandblasted discs with different degrees of diffusion - Two “virgin” discs for you to sand or grind to your taste - Disc Thickness: 1mm and 1.5mm I am also including a 50mm Canon FL F/1.4 lens, with front and rear caps. This lens, however, has issues: the diaphragm (iris) is not working and there is an anomaly (circle) in the glass towards the back. The glass anomaly has no visible effect on performance. Still, this lens, being an FL, is pretty sharp and will work very well indoors. All you need to start using the adapter is an adapter ring to 72mm and, maybe, extra shims to bring your camcorder to the desired height. More pics: Adapter on rails 1 (http://www.ltfp.com/clips/IMG_0121_1.JPG) Adapter on rails 2 (http://www.ltfp.com/clips/IMG_0122_1.JPG) Adapter with Panasonic GS400 (http://www.ltfp.com/clips/IMG_0120_1.JPG) And, clips: Indoors (http://www.ltfp.com/clips/verre.wmv) Outdoors (http://www.ltfp.com/clips/outside.wmv) PS: I could have zoomed in a bit more in the last clip... I am asking $340 + UPS shipping. If you are interested, please email me at poet at videotron.ca. Jesse Stipek March 2nd, 2006, 08:25 PM Yet still great selln' material =) Jesse Stipek March 2nd, 2006, 08:26 PM Mine is really close to new, only 25 hours on it (if even that). Didn't use it much... I listed it at $2800. Jesse Steve Gill March 2nd, 2006, 10:38 PM sold thanks Xavier Etown March 2nd, 2006, 10:42 PM I wish I had the money for this. I'm in SoCal, too. Jack D. Hubbard March 2nd, 2006, 11:58 PM Hey Deniz, I'll take the other nrg battery belt at $160. Still got it? Jack Hubbard |
