Whereabouts are you located?

Leo, are talking about 2/3" CCDs? I'm asking because I thought the XL2 was the most 'native-iness' you could get for under $15,000...am I missing something?

BTW: price is tempting on the XL2...if only I was back in the states....

G'day...

I was commenting ont he offer made to me by Bogdan, not the Original poster Jon.

Read up a little, you'll see.

Patrick:

I spoke to an Azden rep at an LA DV Expo about the differences between the Azden UDR500 and its previous model, the 400. Basically, Azden just made the 500 a little bit smaller and therefore consumes a little less battery power. The dual antenna and everything else is about the same. A complete 500 system would cost you around $600. But, if the 400 can get you good sound and plenty of channels to pick from, then why would you want to throw away your hard-earned money?

I bought the P48 MKH-70 from B&H Photo Video on 3/15/05 for a feature film, but I only used it once for a test (and during the test it was protected by a Rycote windscreen). It's in perfect condition and comes with all the original documentation (including a warranty card that I never filled out) and the Sennheiser case. I paid $1900 for it. B&H currently has it for $1695 so I'll sell it for $1470 (S&H included with insurance, but I'll only sell and ship to US and Canada). I prefer Paypal. Thanks for looking. If you have any questions or want to see a picture, email me at mailto:alienlegend@yahoo.com

Hey All,

I have Canon GL1 that I'm looking to trade for a Panasonic GS400, Sony HC1 or something similar (open to offers). My GL1 package comes with a Pelican case, 58mm UV filter, 58mm Circular Polarizer, 2 Huge Capacity Batteries (along with the original battery). The camera has about 50 hours on it and I've had zero problems with it.

As the new Hi-Def Panasonics have FINALLY come in, I'm FINALLY able to sell my Sony FX1 PAL camcorder (better for film look/film transfer than the NTSC version), bought last year, didn't use it much, in great shape, bought 4 Sony brand extra large batteries for a camping trip (you could shoot all day--probably two days in a row without ever re-charging), plus the smaller battery that came with the camera, have four great, 1st class Tiffen Pro-Mist lens filters, three whites, one black for very filmic look (recommend using the black and the white together strangely enough). Want to sell to save up to buy the 10,000 Panasonic so I'll have to sell it for enough to get the new one--anyone want this fantastic camera with all the groovy accessories for $2800 + shipping? Will take Pay Pal.

Canon 10d $863cdn (but you can talk me down to $850)

I've been eating Kraft Dinner for 4 months to save up for a Canon 5d, but my skin is turning orange, so I'm giving up and buying a 20d for now. I intended to keep the 10d as a backup body, but... oh well.
Comes with strap, charger, battry, cap.

Ok, what you want to know...
The good:
The camera only has 4700-5000 shutter actuations (based on the numbers on the photos).
It is in very good working condition, all functions preform as they should.

The bad:
Body has some rub wear on it, along the bottom edge, a couple corners, and where the tripod screws in.
A few of the buttons are a little spongy, they work fine, but take a second to come out once you push them.
Not sure if I have the software and manual for it. I think I gave them to Keith Loh for his 10d. Don't even know what's on the software, never used it. Could duplicate it.

The interesting:
I'm the second owner of this camera, the previous owner is a known photographer in Northern Canada. At one point, this body was stolen from him, but found and returned by the police. However the serial number was scratched off. He provided proof to me when I purchased it that it was indeed legit and his, and I can direct you to the same info if it is an issue for you.

I'm in Canada, but will happily ship to the USA. Shipping is probably something like $20cdn + $10 insurance for either. No taxes of course.
Payments via Paypal, money order, etc...

Vancouver buyers, yes, I can deliver it to you in person and you can test it out.
