Bruce S. Yarock December 30th, 2006, 06:49 AM Andrew,
I might be interested in the Letus. What do you mean by it "attaches directly to the body bb y means of a relay lens"? Does the Letus attach to the body (without having to use shims, etc? What is a "relay lens"
Thanks

Mike Teutsch December 30th, 2006, 12:20 PM Ok guys and gals, I made that big big buy and bought my XLH1. As much as I would love to keep my XL2, there is just no way I can. Got to get that new camera paid off!
MY XL2 camera has probably less than 20 hours total time. Like they all say, never used as a deck, but I "do" have a deck!
The camera is clean and in about as perfect a shape as it can be. It was always kept covered or in its case. It hasw NEVER given me one problem!
It was bought from B&H in November of 2005, so the factory warranty ran out about a month and a half ago. BUT, I bought the 4 year Mack extended and transferable warranty! So you have almost four years of warranty left to find something wrong with it! :)
It is being sold with a Kata CCC-10 case, and all of the original camera accessories. The camera will be shipped in its original box, and the Kata case will be shipped separately, at my expense.
The cameras are $3,399.95 from B&H right now, the warranty is $169.95 and the case sells for about $239.00, for a total of about $3,809 plus all of the shipping and any taxes. I will ship both boxes to your door and cover any PayPal fees if you use PayPal, for a total of only $3,100. You save well over $700 and get a perfect camera.
I have bought and sold many items to and from folks from this forum, so you can buy with confidence.
If you absolutely need pictures I can post them, but it is an XL2 and they all look the same. I did not, as one member joked, paint racing stripes on it. :)
Thanks------Mike
Jim Karrels December 30th, 2006, 02:03 PM If for some reason my second buyer backs out, I will re-list.
Thanks for looking.

Andrew Todd December 30th, 2006, 04:38 PM hey bruce.. the adapter is direct mount to the body.. unlike most adapters which you would have to mount on the front of your 20x lens which makes for an even more front heavy xl2. the relay lens is a part of the adapter which does the work that the 20x would normally do but in a much more compact way. it comes with a reversible mount which allows for nikon and canon lenses. they go for $900 brand new.
i do have to finish the project im working on before i can let these go.. but ill be home tommorow and will post some pics and footy ASAP
Vishal Gurung December 30th, 2006, 05:19 PM Hi Jason,

Adam Palomer December 30th, 2006, 10:55 PM I'm looking to buy a used Sony light. The condition of the unit doesn't matter as long as it's working properly.
Bill Wilson December 30th, 2006, 11:02 PM I am selling Bogen/Manfrotto 3193 tripod & 316 heavy duty fluid head.
The 316 will support a maximum camera weight of 35 lbs. The fluid head has a sliding camera mounting plate; allowing balancing of any full size camera. Mounting to the tripod is with a 100mm half bowl.
The tripod has 3 leg sections & extends to approx. 65" max. height. There is a floor level spreader included & two handles. There is no bag for the combo.
I used it with an Ikegami EL 79D camera w studio configuration to tape church services for broadcast. It has seen light use, 3 hrs. on Sundays for 5 mos. There are a few small marks on the side of the head, condition slightly used nearly new. The fluid action is very smooth you have complete control over the cameras motion.
The new bogen head no. is 526 & paired with the 3193 tripod sells for $1450-
without the tripod bag at B & H. I am asking $850- for the combination.

Dan Gonzales December 31st, 2006, 05:19 PM I have a panasonic ag ez1 for sale. Its one of the first 3ccd mini dv video cameras. It records in 16x9 and progresive frame. Its in good shape, it records and plays back properly, all buttons/funtions work, and the lens is in good shape with no scratches or fungus. The camera does however have a few white pixels when the gain is all the way up and it decreases with less gain. With no gain and good lighting there is no dead pixels. Hardly noticable in everyday use. The sale will include the camera, a 52 mm lens hood that makes it easier to handle, battery charger and 4 good batteries. Would make a good backup camera. $500 includes free shipping and no charge for paypal.
Patrick Coker December 31st, 2006, 07:37 PM checked my prices, changing it to $5750. Pictures can be seen at http://web.mac.com/epatric
Vishal Gurung December 31st, 2006, 10:52 PM Hello all
Just thought i'd put this out there - I'm in the process of upgrading and have decided to go the Fx1 route -
Was wondering if anyone are planning to sell their's - please feel free to let me know - I've got a budget (doesn't everyone ?) so i obviously can't spend tons but i'm willing to pay a fair and reasonable price .. Would love to buy local *in vancouver* but am willing to buy from elsewhere in N.America. I'm a verified paypal user and if you live in Seattle i can even drive down there.
Let me know what you have (Extras/hrs on head/condition) and we can chat. Thanks!
BTW- Happy New Year everyone!!
Bruce S. Yarock January 1st, 2007, 07:20 AM You'll do better and sell quicker if you price out each component. There are lots of people looking for speifics, but few who will wnt your whole kit.
Fwiw, I sold my clean XL2 to someone on this board for $2400 two months ago. I think that's a fair price.
Good luck.

Patrick Coker January 1st, 2007, 09:46 AM for the advice. I guess I will take that tact. But the camera has to go first people. I will post seperate prices later today.
