No offense, you're shipping the wrong carrier if it cost you $300.

I purchased a Pilot a year ago & it cost no where close to that. I just looked at Fed Ex & guess-exaggerated all of the size & weight & it was under $180 with insurance, I'm sure if I logged into my Fed Ex account it would drop lower than that.

You will need to purchase a battery mount adapter of your choice (I used a custom adapter that I am keeping for my future use), these are readily available from B&H for around $25 and allow you to use your camera's batteries or some third-party batteries to power the monitor. For example:

It also has a 4-pin XLR power input.

As for the monitor, this is Marshall's trans-reflective high-brightness 6.5" monitor meant for use outside in full sunlight, and has the usual Marshall features such as false-color exposure, color peaking, and adjustable color and brightness settings. The LCD is 1024x768 resolution, and there are HDMI, composite BNC, and component BNC (x3) video input connectors.

I love this camera, but it's time to upgrade to bigger and better things.
This camera has been used under 30 hours. Includes everything that came with it (remote, charger, battery, A/V cables, etc). No original box.

Additionally, includes UV lens protector , cleaning cloth, Firewire cable, tape head cleaner, and Think Tank Airport Antidote case (a $200 value).

No cosmetic abnormalities. Comes with instruction manual, etc. The only thing missing is the neck strap (which I hated), so no big loss there.

Typical job for the unit involved a mix of hand held and tripod photography (mostly tripod) outdoors and indoors. Wasn't used in any extreme weather conditions from memory. Not generally used for long periods, nor frequently. An 8 hour day would be on the lengthy side for this camera and it wouldn't have been running for 100% of that time.

It was not used very often so the usage stats are ridiculously low, but I can't give you an exact number because it's at a video store on second hand sale. But If I can sell it before they do, they said that's fine (they're selling another Second Hand EX3 before mine). I believe it is less then 50h (was around 30-40 last time I checked) - If I'm wrong I'll make sure to let the buyer know.

Tripod arrived this morning. Superbly packed in a über stout cardboard box and yards of bubble wrap. Its in excellent condition, looks and functions just like new. Thanks Mike.
