Just wanted to leave some quick feedback for Mary -

She is extremely pleasant, and had great communication and sent me exactly what she had described, and followed up to make sure I was completely happy with what she sent.

Thanks again Mary for a stress free transaction.

Thank you Bob. You're a great seller. I never expected them so soon to arrive. And withouy any extra custom charges. Lucky me.
Now I hope that Dutch Government takes still a long time to decide that the frequency-ranges these mics use, are to be sold to the "vultures" who wants to exploit them for other business.

Gerry,

Since the kit comes with a lifetime guarantee from zacuto... i figure -$400=25% is fair.

Hey There,

So a lot of my clients are transitioning out of HDV, so i'm thinking of liquidating my z1u package to pick up another EX1.

there are two cameras, both with decent mileage (Cam A has 250 hrs on the drum, Cam B has 400ish),

Cam A is in Tip top shape, never has any problems or issues and works great. Cam B has taken a trip or two to the shop due to a bump it took, but has been repaired and for the most part works great, however the viewfinder is a little foggy, the firewire port does not work and every once in a while it takes it a minute or two to turn on.

Along with the cameras would be:

an IDX 4 battery charger
a petrol case for Cam B
A petrol rain cover
6 of the big sony batteries (enough for both cameras to go all day on a 10 hr shoot)
cables, OEM chargers, remotes, etc.
all my remaining tapestock
some other doo-dads associated with the package

$3500

Panasonic is offering the Varicam 2700 P2 camcorder for $19,950 with a qualifying trade-in. List is $40k. Offer runs through September.

I have an older-but-working Sony broadcast betacam. It's BVP-7 camera head with dockable BVV-5 back. It qualifies for the trade-in. It actually takes good images but it's older and I don't use it anymore. I've drastically reduced my asking price because frankly I don't have the storage room. $500 (body only). Fujinon broadcast zoom lens add $300. Portabrace quick-draw case add $100. Will sell separately or together, in any combination. Email if you need more details or pics.

Shipping to CONUS included.

Ethan Cooper
July 29th, 2010, 06:47 PM
Tim - I know you want to sell as a package deal but if Red can ever get Scarlet to the public your 16mm lenses might increase in value overnight. Might be worth holding on to them for a few more months to see what will happen to the used 16mm lens market.

Hi

I'm located in Canada and want to purchase a lower-cost fluid-head and tripod.

Head: DS10 Fluid Head or equivalent price range. A Manfrotto 519 would also be fine

Tripod: Solo DV 2-Stage 75mm Alloy Tripod

What mount are the lenses?

Ethan Cooper
July 30th, 2010, 03:58 PM
Red stopped giving out much information a while back when they kept running into problems getting the cameras done so we're all in the dark as far as release dates go. I'm 100% confident they'll get it to market one of these days, but as to when that will be, who knows.

Do your lenses cover 16 or s16?

I have a pretty new Canon HV30 with a Twoneil 35mm adapter (twoneil HD Static + twoneil HD plus

35mm adapters work amazingly with this camera, allowing you to capture a very shallow depth of field.

This is a great way to get a more professional film look with a less expensive camera.

I'm selling my Libec T72 tripod. It's in immaculate condition, as it was used to videotape only five wedding ceremonies this year. I'm selling the tripod only because I'm looking for something taller.

You can view details about the tripod here: Libec T72 75mm 2-Stage Aluminum Tripod T72 - B&H Photo Video

This model includes a mid-level spreader (NOT the ground spreader as pictured on B&H's web site). B&H lists the tripod for $320 + $12-$17 for shipping. I'm asking $235 or best offer, shipped via UPS. I would also consider a trade for a Manfrotto 028B or 3246 tripod or 503HDV head, if in excellent condition. Feel free to message me if you have any questions.

Payments can be made through me web site here: Equipment For Sale - RPS Films (http://www.rpsfilms.com/sale)

Sorry for the late reply. I'm using the Audio Technica AT875. Much less clunky than the Rode, sounds great, and fits the HMC150 perfectly.
