I am selling my Canon XHA1. It was bought to shoot one documentary project and has about 70 hours shot on it. An HV-20 was used as an import deck so there has been no additional head use.

It comes with all standard accessories including:

Additionally, the camera was registered as part of Canon's XH professional club, and I recently replaced the charger. It is an official Canon charger. I have been very conscious of tape brands and type, and therefore the only tape ever shot in the camera (besides the original tape) has been Panasonic DVM63AMQ. As you will see from the pictures below, I am also throwing in a J-ROD. It is a simple contraption that attaches in the mic holster and gives you two additional shoe mounts for shockmounts, lights, wireless mics, etc. It sells for $70 normally.

The camera has performed beautifully with no problems to report. The footage looks fantastic, and I am happy to say that I am selling the cam because we have sold the documentary and are finished with production.

Once for the "A" upgrade, and once for a blown firewire port that was repaired and currently works fine (thank you "no power" firewire cable). This camera was never taken in harsh conditions; sand, water, desert, animals, and was always stored safely in a climate controlled house.

I'm not really considering selling just the bag at this time. It's pretty large and heavy, so the shipping charges alone would end up being a significant percentage of whatever purchase price we could agree on. So I'd prefer to keep it as an add-on to the whole package.

I guess this is not the most sellable kit in the world, but I thought it worth asking. It was a pretty good kit in it's day, though heavy to carry around. This was my main ENG shoot kit from 98 - 06. It's done more miles than hours. I think the heads' got +/- 230 hours, but since it's at the office in Zimbabwe and I'm in Nairobi I can't check.

The DXCD30 is a really nice front end, uses the 50 pin plug to dock to Beta / DV / DVCam / and various other SD (not HD) formats.

The DSR 1 is a reliable dockable DV cam recorder/player, takes both 180 min and 60 min tapes.

The Canon J15 is a solid reliable broadcast lens - though this one has some problems which mean I'm throwing it all in.

4 x Pag batteries and an AR124 charger

Beyer dynamic radio mic set.

Tripod base plate, Sony hard travelling case for camera, Pag top light, various other bits and bobs.

I am now selling my baby because I need to be able to edit on the go and I feel bad that this computer never gets used any more. It should find its way into a nice new home where it can edit glorious video on a daily basis. I will hate to see it go, but I think I am going to need to make myself a portable studio with 17inch MBP's instead of this system...

Anyway.. enough on why it has to go but more about what you would be buying if you bought my mac, and prices I would like to get for it to follow.

First, the actual mac:
The Mac is an 8 core mac, each with with a clock speed of 3.0ghz. It has 12GB Ram, 3.32 TB of internal hard drive space, It has a NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT as well as an ATI Radeon HD 2600, along side those 2 video cards, it is also equipped with a Black Magic Decklink card (HD obviously), and 2 superdrives.

It currently runs Final Cut 7 beautifully, however, because of legal reasons I can not provide you with the copy installed because I will be keeping the discs for install on my next mac. If you want it to be installed, we can work out a deal where I can buy you discs to accompany the system and install it before I ship it out. It also handles the Adobe CS applications very beautifully. Never even a hic-up.

I would like to get for this box : 3,650 as mac2sell appraised the computer at 3150, with out the extra video card, or Black Magic Card (which I bought 2 years ago for 1200 at B&H) So I feel like adding 500 for the BM Card and ATI card is a good deal. However, let me know if you feel like you can make me an offer you think I would accept.

Along with the mac, I also have 2 Apple cinema displays (23 inch) that I would like to sell for $500 each.

Also a Dell 20 inch display that I will let go for $200.

If you buy all the items, I will let it go for 4,500, I know thats not a huge deal but it is about $300 off.
