was hopeing upgrading to 7.2 would fix my problem but no
I have a Canon XH-A1 and a hv-30 niether of them will get recognized by Liquid
I can hook them both up to my Mac and I-movie will pick them up
I have checked all the camera settings but still nothing
Any help would be appriciated.

Hi Eddie,
I am not in front of my editing computer at the moment, but it may be that you have a setting wrong in the control panel. Ok, i'll have to do this from memory so i hope i don't lead you astray! Go to edit, control panel, then look at the settings there. Input should be ieee1394, if it is not, then that will probably be the problem.

I think Bryce has probably identified the problem but do say if it doesn't work.
You want to look at System Settings in your Control Panels (found under the Edit Tab at top of screen).
You can also get to it via the Live Output icon - the video monitor icon at bottom right of screen.
Liquid picks up my XH A1 without any trouble.

Try this also.
Leave HV30 open and connected with Liquid 7.2.
Then close Liquid not the camera and reinstall it over itself.
It worked for me.
