Can some kind soul please point me to a thread on GY-HD 20iE shot/ Sony Z1 playback compatibility problems? I have a good client who was (thankfully) very happy with my rushes, except that apparently he couldn't use his (European) Sony Z1 to feed them into his NLE; it wouldn't play my HDV 720p/ 25p. I've seen something about this somewhere but haven't managed to turn it up with a "search", which I agree seems a bit dumb.

Do you mean the JVC GY-HD201?
The Sony HDV cameras and decks won't play back JVC HDV 720P. You'll need a JVC deck for that, or use your own camera.
