So I had this dream last night. I had to videotape Barack Obama's first presidential address.
It was just me. And he was speaking on the 8th floor of a retirement home in my town, in some big empty room for some reason. I had 2 hours to get everything ready to broadcast it to national television (somehow.) And half of my equipment was unavailable at another location.
Naturally, I threw what I had in the trunk of my '94 Lebarron and headed off to the shoot. It was a killer setup. 2 Totalights, a nice wood podium, a LCD monitor in front to add some flashyness to the set.
It was the biggest opportunity I would have in a long time. Couldn't blow this one. When I saw the president, he was sleeping on a couch in the hallway. Kinda grumpy when I asked him to put on the wireless lav. Wires were coming out of the XHA1 like an octopus. Hope this works.
Then I woke up...What a nightmare.
