We were lucky enough to shoot a few really cool weddings last winter (in the midst of our Bollywood Concept shoot), trailers just posted to our blog:

PACIFIC PICTURES The Official Blog - 800.677.7206 | info@pacificpictures.net (http://www.PacificPicturesblog.net)

(Vimeo: Pacific Pictures on Vimeo (http://www.vimeo.com/pacificpictures))

Two fun couples; two very different weddings:

JAMES + AMBER | 'on the beach' = prep shot with an HV30 + Brevis set-up, all hand held (trying something new). Ceremony and reception were A1s and Steadicam pilot; lit with an Arri 1k.

FRANK + CHARLENE | 'in the city' = same basic set-up as above. Super low-light/candle-light. Venue lit with an Arri 650. No traffic downtown on a Sunday ; )

We wanted to push the limits of the more compact HV30 + Brevis set-up; not sure how much we'll be doing with the HV30 moving forward, but it held up well in some pretty challenging lighting conditions.

Enjoy!

Awesome Trailers! I am hoping to produce something that good one day. Where did you get the music that was in the start of the Frank and Charlene video?

Loved it Kevin. Did you use the HV30 on both? I am thinking of running my brevis off of the 30 for my Haiti shoot.

Yeah, the prep on both was HV30 + Brevis. Just be careful & watch your exposures on the HV30 b/c it wants to auto gain if you're not on top of it.

I am a sucker for great audio. What mic did you use (James+Amber)? Also when the lighting was there, the color looked great.

Oh yeah, where did you find the music? That was a PERFECT transition between the two. I had to go back and listen for when it happened!

thanks for sharing

What kind of background do you have in production outside of weddings? I was just watching the behind the scenes of Tum Hi Ho and looks like you run a real tight ship and look like a natural at directing.
