I've been capturing 720p clips in another part of my studio with the Decklink Intensity Pro. I'm taking these clips and copying them to my laptop with Vista 64. At first only the audio showed up, so I installed the Intensity Pro drivers.

Blackmagic Design: Software Downloads (http://www.blackmagic-design.com/support/software/) (Intesity v 2.1.1 Series x64)

Now, I get full red clips on the timeline with no preview. Any ideas?

Vegas 8.0c
Vista 64
Captured using compressed motion jpg @ 720/60p

I also have NEO-Scene. My plan is to render out of vegas to 1280x720p cineform codec in squeeze, then encode in h.264 mp4.

Remember that even though you're on Vista 64, Vegas 8.0c is a 32-bit app. If you're installing codecs, make sure you install a 32-bit version for use in 8.0c. If you're going to use Vegas 8.1, you'd need a 64-bit codec.

Okay, so I suppose there is no solution? Cineform doesn't work with Vegas 8.1, and Vista 64 refuses to let me install the 32 bit driver (I just tried). Any work around for this?

Lagarith codec works with both 8.0c and 8.1. Also the quicktime codecs work in either version and also allow trading with Macs.

I'll give you one guess why I now work only with quicktime codecs...

Okay, but how does that help me with the Blackmagic Card? I'm googling my life away for a solution to this..

EDIT: It runs find in Windows Media Player

What did BlackMagic say when you called support?

Does the codec show up in the list of available codecs in Vegas? Like if you do render as > avi > custom > video. Is it on the list of choices? If not, maybe Vegas just hasn't picked it up for some reason.

I'm calling support now. It does indeed show up in the codec list under .avi.
