I'm having a dolly built and I would love for it to fit on industry-standard dolly track. Based on my internet expeditions, it seems that most dolly track specifications look something like this:
1 1/2" outside diameter for the track pipe (the piping on which the dolly physically rolls)
24 1/2" center-to-center (the width of the track)
Is this indeed the 'industry-standard'?
Renting some dolly track would immediately answer my question, but I don't have that luxury which is why I've posted here.
