i finished rendering a file into avi cineform codec 4:4:4 . and then couldnt play it on media player so i installed neo player yesterday and it played fine , I was so happy about that , look really nice. But when i went to render another small avi file to the same 4:4:4 cineform codec it wouldnt do it. I have a feeling that the neo player changed something thinking my neo hdv isnt registered. Am i right , what should i do?

Thanx Chris

You can't install NEO Player over NEO HDV (or any CineForm commercial license.) You will need to uninstall NEO Player and reinstall NEO HDV. For 4:4:4 playback support you will need to upgrade to NEO HD or cross-grade to Neo Scene.

NEO HDV allowed me to do a 4:2:2 upsample to 4:4:4. It worked , It was in the configure cineform codec part. , and i also choose higher HD. It looked nice on my pioneer 141 display.

Can i install neo player first and then install neo HDV. my windows media player plays my cineform files in full screen which i like. Otherwise i can see that 1440 is cropped on the side and its annoying for me.

Ok , so i unistalled both and installed the player first and then NEO HDV. Of course it didnt work.

Windows media player plays the files perfectly however i can render anything in a cineform codec.

So i will unistall both and install neo hdv , but how do i play these files flawlessly with medioa player? or do i use another program to watch the files. Its annoying that i cant do both.

please help

Chris, how are you rendering to a 4:4:4, you don't have license for 4:4:4. NEO HDV is 4:2:2 1440x1080 only. It seems you are trying to do something which the software your own in not designed for.
