Selling a mint condition Sennheiser ME66 microphone with K6 powering module. This super-cardioid, condenser shotgun microphone comes with one K6 capsule, which draws its power from either a phantom power or battery source, a black Sennheiser case, and one Sennheiser MZW 66 Pro black foam windscreen.

The microphone and all accessories are sold in their original manufacturer boxes with manuals where applicable. These are practically brand new: I opened the packages to inspect the products and connect them to a Tascam DA-P1 DAT recorder to ensure they are in working order. Total power up time could not have been more than 15 minutes.

If you go to B&H, the microphone and powering module costs $379 before shipping, the black foam windscreen $64.95. However, I'll sell the microphone and windscreen for $400 total, which includes shipping and handling and the confirmation number.

I decided to sell my microphone because a friend of mine will be getting the AT4073a microphone and I thought I could get some money back for a Glidecam or something instead.

Feel free to email me should you have any questions! I'll accept Paypal or a money order. Thanks!

April 11th, 2003, 10:35 PM
Hey Andrew! I've never shipped anything out to Canada but I'm sure you're right. If that's the case then the price is the same. In the end I'd clear any shipping costs right away and upfront with the buyer before settling on a final price anyway so it shouldn't be a problem. I hate paying excessive shipping costs so I'll try my best to keep it down.

Chris,

I have a price in mind but am waiting for the right offer. I would rather not share it and see what the market has to offer. I guess the true value will come out on E bay.

Thanks

To answer some questions I've been asked: No, there's nothing wrong with it, we simply need to sell it (low on cash, don't use it often enough to hang on to it). We'd love to keep it, but we just can't right now--due to employment changes, etc.

$3500 obo, means "or best offer", so feel free to make me an offer...sorry, no trade--almost brand new,

Includes entire original XL1s package (minus the 30 minute miniDV tape), original warranty card included (we forgot to send it in, so you'll be the first registered owner--full warranty), extra battery pack plus firewire cable.

Email me if you're interested: guin@fiveby.com.

Hi forum,
I am shooting a short film in August/September, and I am looking for a used Canon 16x manual servo lens and a Cavision focus puller (I have a mattebox from Cavision too).
I would rent the lens and focus puller for the shoot, but would rather own it.
Let me know your price, condition and location.
Thanks.

Excellent condition! I purchased this mini-DV recorder/player VCR from B & H Photo - Video - Pro Audio on 1/11/2003. (Will provide copy of receipt upon request.) Has less than 50 hours usage. Will come with owner's manual and original warrenty (haven't mailed it in yet).

Why am I selling this unit? Simply because I want to purchase Panasonic's AG-DV2000 and I will not be needing both units.

Price: $750.00 (U. S. dollars) firm plus shipping. Money order or cashier's check only.

Cavision's matte box (bellows and rods) is awesome! Plus it looks so professional that I am confident that it will add production value on your shoot i.e. filmcrew, talent etc. will work harder and better because of it.

-Looking for 3 CCD Mini DV camcorders-

I'm a wanna-be filmmaker, and my last camera (Panasonic PV-DV 401) unfortunately took some bad spills while doing some pretty intense shooting. I would like to get a camera for some upcomming projects for the summer, if anyone has a 3 CCD camera for sale, such as a GL 1/2, PD150, VX 1000, DVX100 or similar I would greatly appreciate it. My budget is unfortunately limited to 750$, so I know this is unrealistic for most gear, but I figured I should at least try to get my hands on another camera before playing the auction game (not a huge fan because I was recently scammed, but was fortunate enough to keep my money)
Anyways, thanks for looking, and I hope to hear from you!

Thanks.

need a small 3 chipper for some summer filming in Whistler. Doesn't needs to be too new, but hopefully low usage heads. I am thinking of a GL1 or TRV900, preferably the TRV900. I am willing to pay about 1300 to 1500 dollars Canadian. If you think there are other oldish 3 chip cameras out there point them out. I just saw a TRV900 go for something like 1500 on ebay, it seems to be the right price range for me, but I need a legitmate seller.

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2924136347&category=

If worse comes to worse, a small 1 chip DVcam will work, along the lines of a Canon Optura 100 or 200, or a Sony PC 101, 110, 10, and so on. Just something with a good pixel count and
working condition.

If you have something that you thinks might fit my needs just give me a shout.

A PV-DV702 is a nice little cam. They're cheap right now. Call Leo's on Granville for pricing. Another nice 1 chip cam is the TRV25 (and TRV27). These are last year's models, and have dropped in price. Also try A&B Sound on Seymour & Pender.

Hey Thomas, why don't you just buy the focus puller from Cavision? How much do they charge for it?

That big pawn shop in downtown New West usually has used cams. A friend of mine, bought a GL1 there at a good price, which included lots of extras. That was a couple of years back.

Thomas,
Are you set on the 16x servo? Have you considered the 14x? It doesn't have the servo zoom and would require rods for a matte box. But optically it's pretty much the equivalent of the 16x for all practical purposes and many prefer it's fully-manual iris ring.

I have one for sale (http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7709) if you're interested.

-Ken-

Dylan Couper
April 24th, 2003, 12:10 AM
Yeah, the 14x manual lens is a WAY better bang for the buck than the 16x lens, if you have the matte box set up with rods allready.

PS I can vouch for Ken's honesty as a seller. Bought a couple expensive toys (including an XL1) from him already and have always been happy!

$1350....consider your cam sold.............

Thomas Berg Petersen
April 24th, 2003, 09:18 AM
Dylan,
I was wondering why you think that the 14x is 'WAY' better than the 16x Manual?
I have read Ken's article about them, and it seems that they are both excellent in terms of quality of optics. The 16x has more features which is why it is priced differently, I guess.
