I have two GL2's for sale and I would like to sell one of them. This camera rocks, I just don't need two of them. One of the two is brand new in a factory sealed box with full American warantee. It was purchased from a national retailer. The other is about 3 months old but in perfect condition. It has a four year mack warantee and about 9 month left from canon. Let me know if you are interested.
New - $2200
Used with Mack warantee - $ - 2000
Thanks

I've got a pal pd-150 with some screw on filters and all original accessories and packaging. this camera is new (60 hrs. total) is unscratched barely been out of the studio. (1) Where can I sell this/ post this for the extreme niche in the market here that is looking for Pal equipment?
Increasingly I find ebay just a drag and the price fluctuations so radical. the general vibe often of buyers looking to buy only if it's 'dirt' cheap. I'd like to get $2,500 for the camera. (2) Does this seem reasonable and fair to both parties?

Ryan...Is this deja vu? I responded to an earlier ad, but I was too late.

I am coming to Chicago to shoot at the Field Museum mid-April. I don't know if you'd be able to hold the lens for another month. I know I am somewhat at a disadvantage being here on the other side of the world.

Patrick,

YOu might have more luck if you included your location. From the fact that you stated that one of the cameras has an American warrantee then I gather you are in the States and the cameras are NTSC. These boards are quite international and this type of information is vital if you want to sell gear.

Felix,

If Patrick's cameras are NTSC, are you aware that they are not compatiable with the PAL standard used for NZ TV.

M. Raine Lillibridge
March 12th, 2003, 07:23 PM
I'll take offers on this camera. I've seen someone say that sony lowered the price on this camera and it's now 1,900 at B@H but I asked them to email me a quote and it was still 2,500. Anyways this is a Pal model, as yet unavailable in the states. I believe it has a higher retail than the NTSC model. I don't know why I would think it only has different software for the Pal signal. The retail in Europe is 3,500. Not sure about the asian market though.

March 12th, 2003, 11:11 PM
I'm probably going to get an (or is it "a"?) NTSC version sometime this week from B&H. They emailed me a quote for $1999 last week. I'll check it again before I order.

Good luck!

Michael

I thought I would post a list of stuff I am currently looking for used, in case anyone is thinking of selling some stuff, or knows someone who is.

Large pro camera bag, like the PortaBrace C2C-3.

Large Pelican case, like the 1650

2 good video tripods

Beachtek XLR adapter, or maybe a MA100.

Probably more when I remember it....

This is PortaBrace's flip-top case, model number CC-325. For details on this case's design see PortaBrace's page (http://portabrace.com/Details/CC/ccdetail/ccdetail.htm).

This is very roomy case designed principally for carrying the camera and accessories around by hand or car, rather than on a plane. The entire assembled camera drops into the case (including an MA-100 or MA-200). The flip-lid design makes insertion and removal of the camera extremely...well, "quick" and easy.

This case is in like-new condition with no dirt or scuffs, and it has been stored in a smoke-free environment. It includes the legendary PortaBrace shoulder strap and the standard white balance card supplied with most PB cases.

This is an excellent opportunity to get PortaBrace quality at a very affordable price.

List price: $345
B&H price: $290
My price: $200 (US) + UPS shipping

U.S. and Canadian buyers only, please.
Payment via PayPal (preferred) or cashier's check.

If you are interested or have questions please jot me a note via email.

This is Canon's original manual lens for the XL1 camera, featuring fully manual focus, iris and zoom controls. This lens is actually favored by many videographers due to the fact that it's iris is controlled by a barrel ring rather than by an electronic switch on the camera body.

The lens is in absolutely pristine, like-new condition with no scrapes and no lens scratches. It has been babied throughout it's life. (You can see the actual lens on my 16x manual lens review page (http://www.dvinfo.net/canon/articles/article82.php).)

Honestly, I had not planned to sell it. But since I use my 16x most of the time (Xmas gift) I would rather see the 14x in the hands of someone who really needs it and would put the to good use.

Included:
the lens the lens hood front lens cap back mount cap Canon soft-case
Original list price: $1,799
B&H price (new): $950
(while supplies last, since the lens is out of production)
My price: $800 US + UPS shipping

(U.S. and Canadian buyers only, please.)

If you're interested or have additional questions please email me.

Having purchased expensive items off Ken in the past, I can vouch for his honesty as a seller. Whoever buys it from him will not be dissapointed in their purchase. If Ken says it's pristine, he means it.

Domke F-440 (model 709-440) black canvas tripod bag, 40" long. Almost like new, used once to transport 3 light stands, with just one or two almost invisible scuffs. Shoulder strap and zipper in perfect condition. This bag is larger at the top and should have no trouble accomodating any video tripod with a collapsed height of 39" or less. Both my Bogen 3021 tripods fit, at the same time.

$29 plus shipping, your choice of any UPS service, shipped from zip 21212. Weight is about 1 pound, probably 2 pounds packed. Cost at B&H: $40. Sale is final, without warranty of any kind.

See it at http://www.saundersphoto.com/html/domkest.htm under "special purpose."

Payment via check or Western Union money order. PayPal is also an option; please inquire.

This item is not advertised for sale anywhere else, including eBay. DViers get first crack!
