With a bulb? How much was it new? Model no.? Just some more info would be very helpful. Maybe a link to this particular product on the manufacturer's web site? Jason Chang November 19th, 2003, 02:16 PM Here is the company product link: http://www.colortran.com/catalog/lminipro.html I will e-mail you a pic. Jason Chang November 19th, 2003, 02:22 PM COOL MUSIC VIDEO ON YOUR SITE! Would you mind telling me how the cartoon-like effect was achieved? Tim Frank November 19th, 2003, 09:52 PM Wanted to add, the only thing we used to shoot with this was a short driver's ed video. No more than 10 minutes of footage shot with it! Anybody know of other outlets I can try this at, besides eBay? I need to get rid of this pretty soon! Jerry Stanfield November 20th, 2003, 02:25 AM ALOHA Looking for a great deal on a PAL mini dv camcorder for conversion, pal to ntsc, so lens in not a consideration. MAHALO Jerry Frank Granovski November 20th, 2003, 04:21 AM Do you just want a PAL cam to read PAL tapes? A PAL cam won't convert PAL/NTSC footage. Kathy Kegley-Moore November 20th, 2003, 09:28 AM Dave, I just sent you an email with my address. Please post here if you don't get it. Thanks, Kathy Jake Rheinfrank November 20th, 2003, 10:39 AM how much are you willing to part with the me 66 little package? Jason Chang November 20th, 2003, 01:55 PM 72mm Day-For-Night filter is designed specifically for DV cinematographers. It is made by a fine optical engineering firm Harrison & Harrison. Why spend tons of money on expensive lighting gear to shoot night scenes when you can use the sun as your light source during the day?? This Day-For-Night filter is a good tool to have in your tool bag. Asking $60 Jerry Stanfield November 20th, 2003, 02:06 PM ALOHA Frank We have converter we just need a player. So what have your got? Jerry Imran Zaidi November 20th, 2003, 02:31 PM Thanks, the animation was encoded out of video footage using a tool called Flix. The link is: http://www.wildform.com/flix/ I was going to toss some footage I had that I was working on for a short film that went bad, but instead recycled it into a music video by enlivening it with this tool. Patrick Coker November 20th, 2003, 03:10 PM how does this work? you shoot in the day and it makes it look like night? or the reverse? Frank Granovski November 20th, 2003, 06:33 PM Why don't you buy an inexpensive PAL camcorder? Try B&H. If they don't have any, I'll give you the contact info of a Vancouver shop that carries them. Jason Chang November 20th, 2003, 09:55 PM Patric, This is a mono-chromatic day-for-night filter. I've experimented with a cool-blue day-for-night as well. I've found the mono-chromatic filter to give the most realistic look. Panavision rents these filters for $40 a day. I can email you a pic or two tomorrow when I get a chance. In the meantime, please take a look at this frame-grab from my video. http://www.beinfinity.com/temp/jason/dayfornight.jpg This scene was shot in a cemetary at around two o'clock in the afternoon. Stephen van Vuuren November 22nd, 2003, 12:35 AM Reply sent. Mike Rehmus November 22nd, 2003, 02:30 AM You will really like the LaCie. I've heard the fancy Sony is tops but I've had 2x 20" burn out on me. I switched to the LaCie 19 Electron Blue. Super display. Leonid Khaitov November 22nd, 2003, 03:12 PM Hello everyone. I decided to sell my MX5000 due to the fact that I will be doing a lot of night shooting. I only shot 2 tapes with it, so its brand new. I have a lot of accessories for it (wide angle lens, external mic, filters, external light, and a kata bag), and the original box and documentation. So if you are interested let me know. lkhaitov@optonline.net Thanks. Glen Elliott November 22nd, 2003, 04:26 PM Great- maybe you can give me more input into the Electron Blue IV. From the specs it look practically identical to the Mitsubishi Diamondpro monitor(s). Are they the same? LaCie has the BlueEye Vision, and Mitsubishi has the Spetravision calibrator. Same thing just named differently? How is the LaCie monitor for gaming- or better yet I should ask have you tried it for gaming? I found the 22" ElectronBlue IV on PCNation.com for $600- so I'm thinking about picking up the BlueEye Vision as well. Lastly, would getting a monitor calibrator be stupid for someone who doesn't do print work...just web? *If this monitor doesn't sell in a week here, I'll go and Ebay it* Adam Lubkin November 22nd, 2003, 06:23 PM 4 channel audio mixer. Also a good preamp for cameras like GL2. Check out the specs at B+H or Samsontech.com. Excellent condition, includes shoulder strap. $100. Jason Chang November 22nd, 2003, 06:43 PM PRICE LOWERED TO $100. James Rulison November 22nd, 2003, 08:23 PM I purchased an XL1s over a year ago for filming Radio controlled hobbies and making a DVD. Well we ended up using much smaller hand held cameras and this unit pretty much has been collecting dust. We have used it MAX 20 hours I would suspect much less then that. This is the standard NTSC kit that includes lens, charger, and what not. I have the original box, manul, remote, cables, lens cap, hood, everything that is included. I am also selling this with a Tamarac TEK Bag made for the XL1S. I also have the BP 945 battery as well. Craig Shosted November 23rd, 2003, 08:49 PM I am selling one of my Xl1s cameras, as I have discovered I really don't have a need for it. It is used only once for less than a couple of hours. This is a fantastic camera. I am asking $2600 + shipping. I also have a 14x manual lens which I am asking $600.00. Both these items are in like new condition. The lens however is missing the hood set screw.
