Gilbert Xiong October 20th, 2003, 05:24 PM <<<-- Originally posted by G. Lee Gordon : What's your asking price? -->>>
I still need to calculate the total amount that I spent on the stuff. Once I calculate it all and factor in depreciation and used value of the goods... I'll post it up. But for now, I'm open to realistic offers.
Once I get the a ball-park of what I want.... I will also put it on Ebay. But for now... The DVi Community has first dibs.
James Emory October 20th, 2003, 09:36 PM G., is the model a GTX or GTS and why are you selling the rig. Did that crappy demo and setup video scare you that bad?
G. Lee Gordon October 21st, 2003, 10:41 AM I believe there are three models, the GT, the GTS and the GTX. I have the GT model.
I haven't even looked at the video yet. I happened to pick up the Stabilizer with some other equipment that I purchased. This guy had purchased all of this equipment to film a movie that never got made. It has just been sitting in his closet!
Armando Frasco October 21st, 2003, 12:34 PM I received the very prompt payment for my GL2 package today from Barry Gilbert. We opted not to use a third party and it worked for our case. Thanks DVI Info Net! I'll keep my membership even if I'm back into still photography and will highly recommend this site to my friends and colleagues.
Brad Carrier October 21st, 2003, 01:55 PM Brand new XL1s. Bought two, only need one. Zero hours. Factory fresh, still in the plastic, all documentation. $3200

James Emory October 22nd, 2003, 07:16 AM Be careful if you watch that video. You may turn to stone it is so rediculous.
Derrick Begin October 22nd, 2003, 01:13 PM NTSC or PAL?
Brad Carrier October 22nd, 2003, 01:16 PM NTSC
Alfred Tomaszewski October 22nd, 2003, 04:10 PM willing to haggle on the price?
Brad Carrier October 22nd, 2003, 04:54 PM Alfred - I sent you an email at the address on your website. I also messed up your name - sorry.
Brad Carrier October 22nd, 2003, 06:30 PM The Camera has been SOLD.
Elmer Lang October 22nd, 2003, 08:03 PM Sorry, hope this is not eons late. I was just trolling thru and saw your post.
I have a DVX100 and wouldn't mind a trade. The DVX100 is a great camera but I like the picture and simplicity of the PD150.
I haven't used it that much. I just finished a movie that was shot before I got the DVX so about the only thing I've used it for is to record voiceovers.
I live in NYC. If you're interested give me a mail.

John Tkachy October 23rd, 2003, 08:05 PM Anyone have a dead NP-F960 or 950 Sony Battery?
It would really help me out.

Neil Fisher October 23rd, 2003, 11:11 PM I am trying to find a Sony VX1000, good working condition, under $1100 CND, if possible within Canada. No need for any accessories, it will be in a underwater housing for all of its life.
Ryan Krga October 23rd, 2003, 11:58 PM I have a VX1000 with a broken ribbon cable that I'm willing to let go for around $800 USD. The ribbon cable is around $150 USD to repair, but I don't have the time or money to send it out. Email me at ryankrga773@hotmail.com if interested.
Robbie Smolinsky October 24th, 2003, 11:34 AM Since I recieved a bunch emails recently, I just wanted to post that this item has been sold and is no longer available. Sorry to bump it to the top, but I've been getting quite a few emails lately. Thanks!

Lisa Strong October 24th, 2003, 02:55 PM Sorry to take so long to reply. I've been shooting fall colors in the Eastern Sierra. The XL-1 is still for sale. I haven't done anything about selling it since before I left for Alaska. I did discover in AK, however, that the Anton Bauer battery set up is useful for my new Frezzilight. So that is no longer for sale, but everything else still is. Minus the A-B battery set-up, the package is now $2830. I haven't updated the webpage to remove the A-B battery, though, in case you surf over to the above site for a look.

Barry Gilbert October 26th, 2003, 02:51 PM Thank you to everyone here for puttin' on this forum. I still have a lot to learn but am father along than I would be with out it. Thanks to Armand for doing everything in his power to make this deal go as smooth as possible. (Went off without a hitch) Now that I actually own one of these cameras, I can see why everyone loves them.
Thanks again to everyone.
Neil Fisher October 26th, 2003, 05:46 PM I don't really know too much about the insides of a dvcam. What does the ribbon calbe do? does it affect the workings of the cam. Anyone else have a vx1000 in good working condition?
Lisa Strong October 26th, 2003, 11:21 PM Still only interested in selling the kit as a whole rather than piece-mealing it.

Nick Medrano October 27th, 2003, 10:35 AM I am thinking about selling my Adobe Premiere Pro DVDs, though, not 100% sure yet. They are very good and I may just keep them. But, I'd like to see if anyone is interested in buying them for a good price. They cost me $249.
More info about these DVDs here: http://www.totaltraining.com/store/2003/tt_products/AdobePremierePro.asp
Jed Williamson October 27th, 2003, 12:42 PM How about setting up: NickFlix
You could rent the DVD's for $25-40 for 2 weeks or so
& with 6-10 people you'd have them paid for & get to keep them as well.
Just a suggestion but you could use paypal & send out copies of the dvd's (DVD-R) in case someone doesn't return them.
If you are interested in doing this I'd sign up.
Nick Medrano October 27th, 2003, 12:58 PM Isn't this illegal? :)

Daniel LeBlanc October 28th, 2003, 04:33 PM Hi,
After a poor effort at making a film this summer I find myself with no other choice but to sell this equipment. I have it all and wish to sell it all. Ideally I would like an offer on the package but can sell parts of it if I sense enough interests with the rest. I even have an audio recording package sold separately (Seinheiser MKH416/TascamDA-P1...)
Mini35 (version 2002 – 7 months old)
XL1 (4 years old)
Lenses Nikon 28mm, 35mm, 50mm and 85mm
Matte Box and more
$17,000 worth of quality equipment
I am asking $12,000 obo for the package. $9,000 obo for mini35, Nikon prime lenses with adapter and matte box.
I can be contacted at eXmore@usa.net for serious inquiries. Thanks and good luck with your projects. Daniel.
