From my experience, the rebates never seem to be offered outside the USA. I guess that's because it's a Sony USA deal.

If you have a friend over there, buy the product using their address and claim the rebate back the same way. Worked OK for me, but you can forget the warrantee unless you're willing to ship it back there for service.
