It's actually called the ExpressCard slot and it's on the left side of the computer. Additionally, there are many peripherals that utilize that standard form factor. But if you buy a MacBook Pro you'll be set as it has firewire 800 and the Express Card slot. The 17" does, with a 50 dollar extra premium for the matte screen, if I'm not mistaken. |
