Hello Everyone, Since launching and marketing my business the response where i live has been amazing
I have recently been asked my a wedding planner to to make a promotional film for her ,and her husband who is an architect is keen for a promo vid for his company
Basically i own the sony v1, i was looking to invest in a cannon xh a1 as werll for night evening shoots and merlin support. So far customers have loved the product i have given them but promotional videos are slightly different. Do u think i should push the boat out and purchase a camera like the ex 1 for the added quality as well as items like a letus to add variation in the shots
the wedding planner basically does the table lay outs, flowers, and detials of the wedding.
I was thinking of renting a studio , shotting at night so the room is black, having one of her table designs well lit in the middle and have the camera slowly moving around using me in my merlin and wheel chair ( if i can find one) , then dissolve into another table lay out and then one more, basically 3 full circles of the table. I then planned to move off into the black background and fade that into coming down on a full wedding that they have layed out and designed.
Should i sepnd the money for doing somthing like to make it really quality. Different lenses and so on. Im not charging her as its my first promotional film.
Also what do you think about the idea, does it sound managable to pull off
many thanks
luke
