I do multitrack recording I use nuendo as daw system, how can i get an encoded 5.1 track to sync to video and to burn a standard video dvd 5.1?

Ty Ford January 27th, 2009, 09:14 PM Hello David, The 5.1 on most DVDs is Dolby Digital or Dolby Surround. You need a software or hardware encoder to multiplex your individual tracks into one stream. I think Holophone makes an encoder, but I also think I recall that the inputs are all mic level. There are other solutions, but I think they cost more. Since you're using Nuendo, investigate Steinberg's Dolby Digital and DTS Encoder add-ins for Nuendo. |
