That just tells you when you were last looking at the forum. You don't have to do anything about it.

I just thought it was a less generic way to say "you last visited on..."

Janson: as well, the time is referenced to what I assume is Greenwich Mean Time (?) as this is a worldwide forum.

Set the forum to display your local time (or time zone of your choice) by going
to Controls > Edit Options (located at http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/usercp.php)

That confused me too. I actually checked my email a few times. I think it is because often in the signup process for sites there is a checkbox for something like Do you wish to be informed about NEW POSTS or DEALS or whatever and it usually means by email.

If you want to be creative, perhaps another word would be less confusing.

Come to think of it, I don't actually need to be told when I last visited the site. I already know that. What would be more useful there, to me, would be the last time someone replied to one of my posts.

Ya know, sometimes I WASN'T informed: I looked through all the posts and didn't see any I wanted to read. Ya need some AI to determined whether I was informed or not! ;)
