Hi all,
There is a known issue with msdv.sys on XP SP2, which causes the video to lag behind the audio when previewing playback via a dv camera.
To solve this, you can replace the SP2 msdv.sys file with the one from SP1.
Recently I moved to XP64, and replacing the file like I did in x86 does not work. The system will not recognize the dv camera at all.
So I had to roll back, and put up with the video lag issue.
Does anybody know if there is a fix suited to XP64?
also, is this an issue on Vista 32/64 as well?
many thanks in advance.
