I just got my AB Trimpac 14 and I put it on my Tandem 70 charger and the lights flash, which indicate that it has established communication between battery and charger... then the light turns red (which indicates "battery on hold") but it just stays that way and does not flash red (charging)... I even let it sit for hours and still nothing... Has anyone had this problem? Can someone help? I really need this battery to work for a project i have to shoot starting on Monday..

Is the tandem charger one of those dual charger power supplies. If it is and it is in camera mode it will not charge the battery until the switch is on charger HTH

My old Trimpacs do the same thing but they are 10 (?) years old. I just figured that they were DOA. That shouldn't be the case with a new one for sure.
