Hello, I installed Cineform Prospect HD on my computer for CS3 master suite, while i had a trial version of CS4 produciton premium also installed. Is it possible that the Cineform instal was messed up by having some CS4 apps installed and did not properly instal?
I ask because After effects CS3 will not import Cineform files w/o an error but After effects CS4 will import them.
Guess i will try uninstaling the CS4 suite and uninstaling cineform and then reinstaling cineform w only CS3 and see if that fixes it....

Uninstalled all CS4 and uninstalled cineform Prospect HD, then i restarted and reinstalled Cineform Prospect HD and i get this message;
Setup was not completed succesfully;
Could not locate adobe premiere plugin registry key.
Then i try to uninstal and it says; "Could not locate uninstal.exe."
What should i do now?

I wish I had a simple answer but I have seen this happen before with CS2 and CS3. It seems that once Adobe installs the latest version it takes over all registry entries and points everything to the latest build. When uninstalling, it seems to remove the pointer to the latest one, but does not restore it to the older version.
In short, uninstalling CS4 removed references from the registry for both CS4 and CS3 that the Cineform installer needs to install. You might have to re-install CS3. I apologize, as I do not remember what I did when this happened to me about 2 years ago.....maybe I did a whole new OS install?
Good Luck.

CineForm support can send you the missing registty key without uninstalling CS3.
