Actually I did the same, and it says nowhere that pulldown removal is necessary, they all talk about doing the Pldwn Rmvl for 24p though.

Thanks Tim. I'm a tad skeptical as to whether the project settings should be changed to 30p since the footage is 60i. I really don't understand how that works. Can you point me to anything explaining it?
