I've booked for voluntary project work in South Africa (conservation of great white sharks) and was seeking some advice regarding filming underwater.

I've got a PD150 and a couple of Canon XH-A1s and can't really see myself using the underwater housing after this project work.

I'll be in a cage and suspect we'll be at a depth of about five or six feet maximum and was wondering what the most cost efficient way of housing either camera would be?

Would anyone know of a place in the region of Gansbaai, or even Cape Town, where I can perhaps hire underwater housing?

I'd really apprecaite any other thoughts, ideas or concerns.

Thank you
Neil

You may wish to contact Charles Maxwell - Charles Maxwell - Home (http://www.underwatervideo.co.za/) He's local and a very talented guy. If you could find the money it would be well worth it to get his expertise.

Shooting underwater is a particular skill and he'll make sure you have great pictures.
