At has been a while, here are a bunch of enhancements for Prospect/NEO/HD/4K. These are likely the last major beta without CS4 features (yes it is coming,) so this is the CS2/CS3 version.

Prospect 4K - http://02bb6aa.netsolhost.com/downloads/Prospect4kv348b191-090115.zip
Prospect HD - http://02bb6aa.netsolhost.com/downloads/ProspectHDv348b191-090115.zip
NEO 4K - http://02bb6aa.netsolhost.com/downloads/NEO4kv348b191-090115.zip
NEO HD - http://02bb6aa.netsolhost.com/downloads/NEOHDv348b191-090115.zip

Some of the changes (there are more not listed.)
Added: (4K tools only) DriectShow alpha channel encoding of 8-bit RGBA sources (previously was 16-bit per channel was supported in AE.)
Added: CF2DPX frame range access and more speed when creating DPXs.
Enhanced : Progressive v210 (10-bit YUV) decodes are 20% faster on 4+ core systems.
Enhanced: The CF2DPX example help is better.
Enhanced: Pulldown detection for very long records.
Enhanced: When requesting 24p from 60i, it will now deinterlace until it is more sure it has found a pulldown cadence.
Enhanced: 24p pulldown will be smarter when fed already 24p source than have no pulldown (Canon 24F source) or 50i sources.
Fixed: Look for CoreAVC first as the new CS4 AVCHD breaks AVCHD support in HDLink.
Fixed: Active Metadata with different user accounts.
Fixed: Alpha channel encodes from within BluffTitler.
Fixed: Playback using Vista's Window Media Player is now fast and with the correct aspect ratio.
Fixed: Super-super white (serval stops over) clipping with using Active Metadata but not using 3D LUTs.

Added: (4K tools only) DirectShow alpha channel encoding of 8-bit RGBA sources (previously was 16-bit per channel was supported in AE.)

Any chance this will make Ultra CS3 work with CF alpha channeled stuff now? That is, OUTPUT CF HD with alpha? We've not had much luck in the past...just a few MOV's...

It is the fault of Ultra, not CineForm, I have pointed out that deficiancy to them in the past. Please ask Adobe to fix it. They simply not offer an alpha channel to DirectShow or VfW, and we support both. Bluff Titler can do it in the $40 package, so why can't Adobe.

I installed the beta last night. I am on Vista x64, with 8gb Ram, quad core.

THANK YOU. The playback in windows media player works smooth now.

Also, I know you have not finished the importer for CS4, but with this beta, the playback in Premiere CS4 is better. Before this release, after a few seconds, the playback with CF AVI files would come to a crawl, like 6-10 frames a second.
Now they play at almost real time.

I am looking forward to the new CS4 importer.

AE should not be using CFHD.dll, it will be using the importer under CS3 to CFAEIO.aex under 7.0. Likely you have an install issue, you need to contact support (file a ticket, CineForm Support (http://www.cineform.com/support).)

There are very limit choices, none of with I have tried. ProRES now has limited PC compatibily (although I doubt their is much deep precision supported on the PC), BitJazz Sheer or Avid DNxHD might work, and there is always uncompressed.
