I have had the XHA1 for a week now. I have been using an XL2 but wanted the HD factor so here I sit.
Here is a YouTube video that I just did. (I have a 15 year old camera man no experience and not the best)
The footage does not look that good to me. However, on my TV it looks pretty good. I am wondering if you know of a good pre-set for the camera for shooting these games.
I shot this in 60i TV mode 1/60. (Which is the same as I used on my XL2)
YouTube - Cowboys vs Cardinals flag Football Highlights (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bG6TB-jFypY&feature=channel)
(Hit the HD button)
Here is one from my XL2
YouTube - Cowboys vs Bengals Flag football (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0avZhPXJxJE&feature=channel)
(Hit the High Quality Button)
One question I have is pertaining to the motion blur. The XL2 footage was much better.
My guess is that this had nothing to do with the camera but more so the compression in post. What do you think?
