Waldi Krasowski January 4th, 2009, 04:00 PM I have found an answer by myself ;-) DVMP Basic - view datacode/datecode, timecode, date/time, and exposure details in DV AVI files (http://www.dvmp.co.uk/dv-media-player.htm#buy) Bill Engeler January 12th, 2009, 09:29 AM Using that product you will most likely be able to see the tile and date, as well as the timecode, but I don't think you'll see any shutter or iris info. I'm not 100% certain, but I don't think Canon include these in their metadata for their DV cameras. You might want to email Canon to find out for sure before buying the program. Bill Engeler Waldi Krasowski January 13th, 2009, 02:10 PM Yes Bill, it does. I mean - it shows the iris, shutter and gain level as well. Colin Browell January 22nd, 2009, 04:55 PM It's true that some of the less expensive cameras seem to omit some of the metadata, but I haven't noticed a theme with any particular manufacturer. There's also a HDV capable version of DVMP Pro due out soon. Colin Browell February 25th, 2009, 07:56 AM There's also a HDV capable version of DVMP Pro due out soon. Out now. It also has a couple of new tools for extracting recording date and time from HDV, MOD and AVCHD files.
