To be accurate I just arrived here about two weeks ago after wrapping up in Vietnam, but we will be shooting here for the next three months. I have been reading the forums for about a year, and went from never having held a camera to running a small production company that is shooting a weekly HD travel doc. I learn something new every day, but certainly owe the board for helping me get this far. I am hoping I can find a way to contribute with some of my experience with shooting internationally and trying to do it with a small team. Certainly looking forward to talking more with everyone here.

Hi Brian, welcome:)
And can I ask what were you doing before you “held a camera”?
Keep us posted about your experiences - i personally love production/post diaries!

Actually I worked in Marketing for a big corporation, and after awhile decided to take the plunge and try something on my own. From there it was just a lot of hard work and eventually things started to come together.

Tokyo is a hard place to get around especially if you are a foreigner. Let me know if you need any help. Been living here for almost 35 years now...
