View Full Version : Infrared remote commander not working on PDW-F335 and F355?

I ordered the little Sony RM-F300 infrared remote control for my PDW-F355 because it hasn't one included like the F330 and F350 before.

I'm going to pick up this little thing next week, and already wanted to set one of the assignable buttons on IR-remote. Problem is that I can't find such a setting in all the choices that can be made. Am I missing something? Doesn't this infrared remote not work anymore on the PDW-F335 and F355? Also can't find anything about it in the operation manual.

Anyone who can test this?

Thanks a lot!

You are just not going to believe this guys!

I just discovered that the F335 and F355 don't have a remote sensor anymore. Ouch! How could I ever have over seen this?
Oh wait, I can still blame my KATA camera glove for hinding it.

Now I only have to sell this story to my dealer! ;-)

Yeah, I thought I posted this last summer. I discovered that little gotcha when training a station on their new F355 cameras. I too, was of the belief that they simply quit including the remote so I took mine with me to show them what they were missing. Well, the joke was on me.
