Hi I cant find what I’m after with a preset for the EX1 going into Final cut and then the settings for creating a SD seq template to put the HD timeline into.

Basic question really, what should the seq settings be for this camera?
Should it be in easy setup:
Format: Sony XDCAM HD
Use: XDCAM 1080i 50 VBR
I record all in HQ 1920x1080 /50i

Also the new SD seq, am I right here?
Frame size - CCIR / DV PAL (5:4)" 720x576
Pixel aspect ratio : PAL - CCIR 601 (720x576)
Anamorphic 16:9. - Field dominance "None"

Format should be XDCAM EX not HD for Easy Setup.

For SD sequence you might want to use the Uncompressed 8 Bit Easy Setup as a starting point. Certainly Apple Pro Res would be a good codec choice.
