I've tried to find any discussion on the possibility of using Lomo lenses for the Konvas (OCT-19 mount) on the 5d. Would it be feasible to have a OCT-19 to EF adapter made? I have a set of these lenses, including a zoom with a rear anamorphic adapter. The idea of using these great lenses (esp. an anamorphic lens) on the 5d interests me. Lomo lenses are cheap and supposedly of great quality. Still, I'm a total newbie and don't know where to turn. I spent 5 years (off and on) getting a Konvas camera to a workable state. I've had to postpone my hobby several times due to work priorities. The 5d seems like it would be a lot of fun to experiment with. Either way, I want to start dabbling later this year and would LOVE to try the 5d with these lenses as well.

The quality and the relatively instant gratification (as opposed to film) provided by the 5d and digital cams in general is exciting. There must be a way to get this to work. The Red cameras with sensors greater than 2/3" are going to be expensive. The 5d seems like an incredible bargain and allows more money to be spent on other important things, light lighting and sound accessories. I also like that it is an SLR. It draws less attention to itself. The Red cameras look like they are something for COMBAT!!
