Please let me start by saying "I'm not an expert" and depend heavily upon smart people to save me.
I just bought a used XH A1. I already own one so this will be my second cam on shoots. I have been trying to match up all the settings and believe I've been thorough as I examine and compare each menu page and setting between cameras. I started by resetting both cams to factory settings.
However, and I suspect it is something simple I keep overlooking, when I put the newly purchased camera in Manual Record mode I have some issues. The iris and zoom features have some sort of effect going on. When I adjust the rings the changes occur incrementally instead of smoothly. Also, when I pan, the image becomes blurred, has a tail and moves incrementally across the screen instead of fluidly. There's a setting or combination of settings that are hiding from me!
My original cam is a dream and I have been using the settings on it to compare to my new one. I can't figure what is different. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Les
