Jaron Tauch December 5th, 2008, 02:48 PM I shoot weddings with the a1 and would suggest not to go too crazy with the presets unless you have tested them before and you know exactly what your going for. I experimented with vividrgb at first and found it to make skintones look odd, panalook isn't bad but I like things a bit more saturated. I currently use my own setting which is everything flat except I cranked the color gain to about 18 and put the cine2 gamma setting for a bit more contrast. I find this pretty good and still gives you a lot of options for post grading as well. Darrin McMillan December 7th, 2008, 10:10 AM I would use extreme caution when attempting to use a preset for shooting a wedding. Here is why; -Every church/ venue is different -You will be in many different environments -at times it can be more of a run and gun type situation I would worry less about the preset and more about the lighting conditions. If you can store multiple presets it might be something to look at.. but I would be very careful. |
