This has been bugging me all weekend, if I post into a thread, from then onwards I can't see any of the responses, even tho' I can see responses have been posted.

The temporary workaround is this:

Go back to your post.

Hit "Edit".

Hit "Save"

Hit "Save" again.

Bingo, all the missing responses appear, as if by magic.

Well, it works for me, anyway.

Un - gummed God knows how many hung threads.

Appologies if this is treading on official toes BTW.

CS

PS: Huh. Just tried it on this very thread and guess what - it didn't work! Must be a time thing going on here as it's unclogged every other thread I posted in (gota say, some of 'em were a day old!) and some of 'em cleared all on their lonesome anyway.

Just caught a new post so thought I'd check, and........nada.

Bugger.

Hi Chris. I too am having site problems. I have found after posting something that it is easiest to close my brower and reopen the site to see the post (s). I'm sure that this will be corrected when one of the administrators finds the problem. Mark

Same issue. I am using IE 7 and a simple refresh once on the page gets the new posts to show. Also The new Posts button which I use frequently now also shows over 800 unread messages. Usually I have about 20 as I stay up to date...

We've switched how we track read posts to be more accurate, if you suddenly have a deluge, you can mark all as read by going to Quick Links -> Mark Forums Read.

Thanks. That took care of the large ammount of unreads that had not changed since I last logged in.
