Hi all,
Just a quick line to say that our first child arrived safely on sunday morning. A planned UW birth was scuppered by some complictations, but he came out safely OL at 05:09.
Just afterwards it started snowing, so we know we have a winter baby :-) We've decided to name him Arran.

In a way, quite glad there's no challenge in December now!!!

And before you ask, the camera was not heavily involved!!

Well, in theory he's been with us from the snowy playground of the Hardangervidda in Norway, to the streets of Reading, then sitting in wonderement of nature's beauty by the river in spring, watching badgers late at night and strolling through amazing woods in the autumn.

All thanks to UWOL - i think thats a pretty good start ;-)

Congratulations to Rob and Missus Rob, I hope mother and baby are both doing well!

Now on to serious matters, the name. There are so many fine names from UWOL-land that could've been chosen. I'll rule out the name Meryem because of gender, but why didn't you consider Geir Inge Evans!?

And thinking back to UWOL7, how come there's not a panning time lapse video from the delivery room, eh?
