Hi guys,
I got a strange problem that I can't resolve. When I am editing on my Mac Pro (Using Avid Media Composer), the playback from the timeline get's faster after about 30 minutes of work for no aparent reason. It can even happen before, when I do work intensively with sound (like mixing). When I shut down AVID and restart the application, everything is fine again - for another 30 minutes ;-( It's probably not an AVID problem, because I had the same Issue before with Xpress pro, and I configured the system to match the latest AVID specifications.
It's somewhat annoying to deal with that 'micky mousing' twice an hour. Does anyone have an idea?
P.S. I am editing PAL SD / Stereo
Macbook Pro 3.1, bought 02-08
Intel Core 2 Duo, 2,4 Ghz
L2 Cache: 4MB
RAM: 2 Gb
Software:
MAC OS 10.5 Leopard, Media Composer 3.05, QT 7.5.5., MPEG Streamclip, Toast 8 Titanium, Onyx -plus Apple standard software
